    Good for the Money

Somewhat light weight if you are in a windy area, but good looking with light beige fabric and bronze pole. Crank and tilt work fine. One caution: This is a tall umbrella. We had to cut off about a foot of the pole to keep it in proportion with our table.

Price - Contruction - features make this a good deal for the budget minded.

I think it is essential to rate taking into account the price. And for the price we found this to be very good. Metal poles with crank-up umbrella is smooth and consistent. Fabric is thick enough to avoid tearing or ripping. The arms for the fabric are plastic. They do flex and need to as the wind allows the fabric to shift in a controlled fashion. I doubt it would hold in a heavy wind, but for the few times we used it, the breezes and light gusting had no ill effects on Tropshade. We went with a light color so the fabric would reflex the heat of the sun, as a dark color will generate heat under the umbrella and that is not wanted (by most). After I saw the quality available in this item at this price, I purchased a second one for our other table and found the same quality as before. So, buying a second one says it all. I believe for general use and no big gusts of wind you can be content with this item in this price range. If at all possible, close up the umbrella after you use and stow it in the box they since it in, this will add years for service to your purchase.

My patio umbrella arrived in a very timely manner and was completely intact, without any damage. I enjoy using it on my new patio and would highly recommend this umbrella to a friend, neighbor, anyone.

    Need Shade

Great replacement for our yard set. It even matches a swing cushion replacement we purchased. Also covers a large area where the sun is shining over the table and chairs area.

I like the crank to lift and lower the umbrella

This has held up for 2 summer seasons. I like the crank to lift and lower the umbrella, and the ability to tilt. The vent helps it from being caught in the wind, however I had have it take off. Youll need to lower the umbrella if the wind tops 10 mph. It wont black out the sun, but it provides good shade and relief in the California sun.

    Very happy, great price!

Satisfied with the umbrella quality and great price. Based on other reviews that the stem or pole is week and bending, I went to home depot, purchased a round piece of wood ($4.00) and installed it in the lower half of the umbrella up to the crank for extra weight support. Works like a champ!
