It is firm and helps with sitting up. Back is a little low. The arm pillows slide and fall off because they are not attached, however it is a nice feature being able to remove to allow extra length for sleeping. Overall great product for cost and perfect for small spaces. truly easy to install
This is a cute, compact little sofa futon. Easy to assemble. I am 63, drug it up to my rv/office/She Shack by myself and assembled it in about 1/2 hour. Its compact and pretty lightweight. Great for sitting around having a chat or even catching 30 winks, but I couldnt imagine sleeping on it. A light weight child could sleep on this comfortably but not an adult.
I would suggest that the manufacturers upgrade the fabric under the couch. Actually its a very thin paper like product, that rips easily. The futons loose parts are shipped in the cavity of the couch and if you are not careful you can rip the zipper area getting the stuff. I have to worry about critters in an rv so open access to the couchs guts is not a good thing, I like it overall! Perfect for us
I have had this not even a full year, and it has a divot in the center. The leather isnt super durable and ripped in a few spaces. My cats unfortunately also have been using it as a scratching post so its absolutely destroyed from them as well. Its not the most comfortable futon out there to sit or sleep on. Its a pretty hard seat.I am so disappointed.
This is a perfect example of read the fine print carefully. Good futon looks nice, actually pretty comfy. 3/5 due to the fact the arm cushions are completely detached and pretty much useless. The back doesnt hold much weight before it starts to buckle. Pros: comes mostly assembled, looks good. Cup holder feature. Good price. For the price I expect better directions and quality
