I bought this for my 101-year-old mother in-law who was moving from an independent apartment to an assisted living complex. She is smart as can be, but has had mobility issues and a recliner that had a lift mechanism was needed. I did a lot of research and found this item on - it was a reasonable price and had strong positive reviews.?
This is the first piece of furniture I have ordered online and I was pretty nervous.
1) would it be delivered on time and undamaged?
2) would it be as easy to put together as they showed?
3) would the electronics work properly?
4) would the quality be good
5) would it be comfortable for my MIL.
Before ordering I contacted House about the?type of delivery and I was impressed by their customer service - their replies were prompt and thorough.?
The recliner arrived a few?weeks ago and I can confidently say that the answer to all 5 of my questions listed above is a very positive YES.?
Everything works great and looks great - and, best of all, my MIL absolutely LOVES it!
First impression is that it is a very good recliner at a very reasonable price. Does all it is supposed to do and is very comfortable. Appears to be well made. At this stage my impression is that I would buy it again.
This chair has everything! Its so comfy, like sitting on a big, plump loaf of bread. All the features are so extra good, it seems easy to use and keep clean. Very solid and impressive. Very good value for the price. Helps me get up, easy to nap in.
ABSOLUTELY no complaints. Perfect and the price unbelievable for all the features. Have been looking for similar chairs for over one year and this is the best ever chair and price. Well worth the wait Love the foot raising separately without the rest of the chair moving.
The power lift chairs we looked at tended to be chairs geared toward large people while this one is the size of a regular chair making it perfect for a normal or smaller person. We also bought this chair as the foot rest operates on a separate motor from the recliner - she likes to sit in a normal position but needs to have her legs raised for her circulation. You cant do this with most chairs. Fair price, it looks good, easy to operate, and most importantly it provides the comfort and support she needs.
I love this chair! The fabric cover is great and the lift feature is just what I needed after a fall and hip replacement. I had a problem with the height of the foot rest and had to return the chair but this company could have not made it easier if they tried.
The term Customer Service has come to mean lack of service, fighting with people who are more concerned with their profit margins than people. REAL Customer Service is so rare now days as to be a thing of the past but House shows how to provide true Customer Service.
I cannot recommend House enough. When was the last time you heard someone extol the virtue of a product business where you returned the product. And NO, House has not offered me anything to say this.

This chair is perfect for a petite senior. So many lift chairs are huge. My mom loves that this one fits her (shes 54).
