I got it for my kids . The bed came on time in good condition,book and tools in box with all the instructions, made it easy to fix. To tell you the truth, that was a brand new bed! I love the bed, its really beautiful! I got the gray color. The only issue I have with the bed is all of the paint chipping. I noticed the chipping the next morning after my kids slept in their beds. And no they do not jump or play on them.

Bought this bunk bed for our 7 and 4/year/old boys. They love it, especially how large the full/size bunk is. The color is really more of a blueish gray than charcoal, but no complaints. So far its all holding up very well. We have smallish bedrooms with short ceilings (9 feet), and a ceiling fan, so the bed height and size stayed within our restrictions. I do not recommend having a deep mattress for this bed. Our older son had a twin mattress that was 12 inches tall, and it would have been too tall and therefore unsafe for the top bunk. Instead, we bought two Linenspa mattresses based off recommendations from other purchasers, and they work great! Installation was easy enough. The instructions were clear and had number guides for all the hardware. One person can actually do most of the work except for one or two places. Im a SAHM mom with a working spouse, and I managed to build it in a day mostly by myself.
The bed is very sturdy, great color, does not make noise when climbing up to the top bunk, came quickly, and easy to put together. I am 56 and can sit completely up under the top bunk with an eight inch mattress. My children really like their new bed. I highly recommend.
