The bed went together fairly quickly and was easy to assemble. Downsides are 1) It doesnt feel like a larger person would be safe. At 135lbs it shakes enough that I would not try to have additional weight. 2) the ladder going up is not easy to climb being thin stairs. It hurts to climb barefoot
This is a great bunk bed for a young child. Its cute and sturdy, and my daughter loves it. What the other reviews said is correct, though. The instructions arent very destailed and the pieces arent all labeled (although the instructions do actually tell you everything you need to know, you just have to really carefully compare the piece youre using to the picture). And the wood is very soft, so its easy to scratch with the screws (but after assembly, how many sharp objects are going to be in your childs bedroom). Im very happy with it!
I really like the bed. There were a few spots on it where the black material had been scraped against something and chipped off, but most of them were in areas that face the wall, so youd never know. I forgot to take pictures of how it came. The photo above was done by me turning my office chair a bit too close to the desk, which was totally my fault, but I included it to show what a chip would look like. Ive had loft beds before and this one is the most quiet to get on, the desk and shelves are sturdy. Id rate it as a 4.5 if I could, the only reason its not 5 is because of the scuffs upon arrival.
Kids loved their beds. Verify all parts before assembling. I have a few bolts missing but had some spare ones. Other than that, it was not too difficult to assemble. It took me 3 hours without assistance.
I bought this for my office in case of late night stays; it took me around 3 hours to assemble and it holds up really well (Im over 200ibs) but it does rock when I toss and turn.
Very disappointed that the item I received is not what was pictured. The bed I ordered was supposed to be Grey/Black and all of the images looked charcoal grey or black. There was even a separate option for Grey which indeed looked different, and so I purposefully did not choose that one. The bed received is obviously Silver which was not in the description nor shown in any of the photos. Very disappointing when I am trying to match the bed to other pieces of furniture in the room. Be very careful about the color you choose, the item photos are not at all accurate.
Long time to assemble. But worth the time. Clear instructions. My son and I had no problem setting it up. The bed is sturdy and works great for my two smaller boys!
Great product, loving it! Thanks I was ok with this product the boys ages 9 and 12 liked it , it definitely is shakes though not sure you can do much about that. Took me and the boys several hours to put together bc I kept having to go back and flip something that was annoying

Nice but
Went together well and looks nice. The bed is not very stable and is rickety. Put a brace on the wall to stabilize it. For the cost should be better.
