My wife and I recently had our first child together on 29 February 2020. We had an assortment of weapons including a carbine and several hand guns. I wanted to get an affordable safe with quick keyless access. It was delivered quickly, took very little time to set up and ensures the baby wont get into anything she shouldnt as she grows up!
The safe has ample room for the number of firearms I have. The packaging was the best Ive ever seen for this heavy a shipment. Not a single dent, scrape or ding anywhere. Nice finish and appointments. I really like this item. I recommend it to anyone thinking about it.
The product was delivered top down. When I open the box, I notice there are some scratch and paint is off at edge and corner. After I get it opened, I notice that the black plastic covers keypad is broken already, I can see the electric part through the hole. I need send me a part to replace the plastic part and give me compensation, otherwise I will return it.
I contact seller and they send me a new safe cabinet and it works.
I received this safe yesterday and I am thrilled with it! It appears to be very well made and it is easy to set up and start using. I gave it five stars for Thickness because it is exactly what Moutec said it was, a safe/cabinet to store my firearms that will keep children and any other casual person away from them. It is not a heavy safe, it is a secure safe cabinet to store and secure firearms. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
This safe/cabinet is perfect for my needs. Keeps children away from my items and will add a layer of deterrence to potential thieves. Safe arrived in perfect condition, not dented at all. Is light enough for me to carry up to second story on my own but heavy enough to feel secure. Easily bolts to wall with predrilled holes in back wall. Very happy with my purchase.
Overall not bad for the price. The door and front facing part of the safe is very thick but the sides and back are more like a gun cabinet. I had no issues installing and setting up the keypad and the safe is pretty spacious. The seller contacted me after it arrived asking if I would be interested in an organizer for the inside of the safe which is quite handy. The customer service is by far the best I have experienced on !
My main purpose for purchasing this safe was to keep guns secure from visiting grandkids. It was bought while on sale. I was very impressed with the sturdiness for being a sub $500 safe. Its thick enough to give a thief a pretty hard time and the lock works well. Overall, a very good value for a safe of this size and quality. Plus, the interior lockbox is a real plus! I secured it to a wall from the side so I had to drill three holes in the side wall. Very happy with it and I recommend it.
For the cost, this seems to be a pretty good gun cabinet. I was quite pleased that it came with a higher-security backup lock than was indicated in the pictures. Not posting a picture of the actual key, but as you can sort of tell by the lock picture, its the laser cut style, with a groove in the middle on both sides.
Its quite spacious, and fits my rifles easily. Ill probably put something on the floor to help my shorter rifles reach the rest more easily, though. They reach, but only just.
The packaging was good. It was delivered to me upside-down, despite the large this way up text (WTF, FedEx?), but the cabinet was still in perfect condition other than the bottom carpet needing to be put back in place.
Upon registering the warranty, they sent me a door organizer, which mounted easily without tools.
A few small criticisms:
The serial number sticker fell off. Make sure you have it before throwing away the packaging.
There is no padding between the door and the frame, so it will rattle when entering the combination.
Both very minor, and easily fixed, but worth mentioning.
