The safe was shipped much quicker than expected and packaged very well. The lock was very easy to program and works well.
Securing to a wall or floor is a must to prevent it from falling over. I plan to add felt to the inside walls and back, and a door seal to help control moisture. The safe has plenty of room inside for its size and is a good value for its price.
This safe is was easy to install and works well. The manufacturing is good - everything works as it should. I suspect someone could get into it if they wanted to steal, but it would slow them down, and it certainly keeps things locked away from the kiddos. And that was the primary reason for the purchase. All in all, I am quite satisfied with the safe.
Great little safe and a steal for the money. Once bolted/secured to the wall, it is very secure. Like others have noted, this isnt a liberty safe that is ultra thick. Its more of a gun cabinet but a little thicker and pretty solid locking mechanism. Perfect for keeping things away from kids.
I am updating from a one star to four, for what it is worth. I fixed the lock battery holder located within the safe, which is annoying---the spring for the battery terminal was out of position. Once this was done the lock functioned as it should. As for the remote battery holder, I used a negative end spring from a cheap small flashlight, and placed into its spot. While I know I did not buy a Liberty Safe, there is no excuse for manufacturer quality control lapses such as these two things---together both of these rendered the electric lock inoperable. So if you buy one of these, and the lock number pad does not work, check the springs for the ground in the battery pack. Aside from these defects, and that it arrived late (which is not the vendors fault I think), I would have rated this at 5, like I pretty much rate everything else. At least it will not be used to hold fishing gear now.

The safe arrived earlier than expected and is very heavy-duty! It fits perfectly behind an open bathroom door in the corner of a bedroom. Easy access, but everything safely locked away. Its great to have key access AND digital-code access. Were happy to have the top shelf for handgun storage and five rifles fit perfectly in the taller section. Plenty of space for ammo if you organize things correctly. Great purchase...so glad we have it!

The only Con I have: I wish the safe was heavier and thicker. Other than that it is the best I found and that was after tons of research and no other safe compares for the price.
Packaging: They package this so well, all corners are well protected, all sides protected. YOU WILL NOT receive a dented up safe.

Great safe! Exactly what we were looking for. Big enough to handle all our guns and still have room personal effects. Would highly recommend.
