    Exactly what I expected

Product is as expected. Cant comment on long term durability but so far so good. I dont have back issues and the chair is very comfortable for me

Its what you expect for $80...and nothing more.

The assembly is easy, but it does take 30/45 minutes. The hardest part is aligning the back to the arm, which is easier if you dont tighten any of the armrest screws until they are all in place. I too was worried about the back being hollow, so I took another reviewers advice and put a smaller Harbor Freight blanket folded to size in there. It provided extra padding and you cant tell once its zipped up. This isnt the only chair that ships with the parts in the back cushion (no padding), so it wasnt a deal/breaker for me, but I would probably avoid it in the future. It does feel like you are sitting forward/more upright than what is normal, but that could be because my old chair was too far back and I just got used to it. Ill have to wait and see if I get used to it, but it is probably better for my back since it forces me to sit upright, although not as comfortable. The cushion is padded enough, but you still kind of bottom out on it, but not so much that its hard on your backside. Lets face it, I bought it because it was cheap, and you get what you pay for. If you really want a super soft chair with all the adjustments, its going to cost you $250 and up. This chair looks nice, is sturdy enough and doesnt creak like my old chair did, but I dont expect it to last more than 5 years before the covering starts to wear and it starts falling apart. Im 62/230 lbs and it works, but isnt the most comfortable chair Ive ever sat in (not the worst either). Its going to feel different for different people, so you cant judge by one review whether this is the chair for you. The quality and looks are okay, but since Im going to be in this for 8 hours a day, I dont love the comfort. Maybe Im just used to my old chair and will get used to it in time, but its average overall, so I give it 3 stars. I think its better for shorter/lighter people. As far as the reviews with broken lifts or ripped cushions, either they were too heavy for the chair or they got a bad one shipped to them...I wouldnt worry about that too much. My average review is mostly because of the comfort and lack of adjustments. In hindsight, Id probably pay more for a chair that allows me to adjust the angle of the back to the seat instead of this one size fits all approach.

    Meh, itll do

The back is completely hollow. Im going to fill mine with nuts for the winter. The screws are screwy and really frustrating to deal with. When I sat my delicate 250 pound frame into the chair that is supposed to support 275 pounds there was MUCH crackling and a nihilistic sense of the chairs impending doom despite having just been created with love and and a lot cussing. This is the chair for those of us that want to look fancy but cannot afford the actual fancy chair that will support your back and tell you whos your daddy. This chair will be sat on with the expectation that my back will feel stiff, my legs swollen and my ass numb. But I have to sit in something and the milk crates aint cuttin it. So in conclusion: this chair is better than a stack of milk crates stolen from behind the local super mar/shay.

    Definitely worth it!

Very easy yo assemble. Took me about 30 minutes. It is very comfortable, great build quality for the price, its hard to beat.

    Its okay

I might be a little biased because I spent the last 6 weeks in a chair that caused me nothing but absolute pain, so its definitely an upgrade, but its a pretty okay chair. Kinda tough to build, a little heavy (29.5 pounds.) I wish it leaned back a little easier, you really gotta put some leg work into it and I have it maxed out with the turn knob so I know thats not the issue. I pretty much have to stiff leg against the wall under my desk to get it to lean back where I want it, but I can only do that during downtime, not when working. Its a decent starter chair, but I probably wouldnt purchase again for the price. Id rather have paid more like $50 for it rather than the $100 I did after shipping and tax. Its a good chair to get you out of a bind like I was in with a horrible chair, but dont expect it to be a luxury chair or anything.

Started falling apart after a year

    Best price for the money!

I never go with the product thats the cheapest nor the most expensive. This one was at the middle of the road and gives a lot of bang for the buck at mid/level pricing.

Fine except one part is defective.

Item B was not good. One of the holes was not right so that the screw going into it would not let me tighten it. So that one leg could not be secured tightly. Is it possible to get just Item B, the part to which the legs are screwed into replaced?
