This item shipped from an warehouse and used a service other than the three big ones, and it showed. Item ended up arriving a week late. Nobody at nor the shipping service had any clue where it was. It seemed to be in limbo somewhere between the warehouse and my house, approximately 15 miles apart. One of the worst experiences Ive had dealing with .
The product itself is rather cheaply made, and has cracks already. Its hard to assemble, especially when holes for the nuts arent drilled deep enough and the hardware is cheap aluminum rather than steel.
Received this yesterday. My husband and I spent too much time assembling it, and trust me, it wasnt a we just didnt know how issue. First issue was with delivery, the package arrived punctured and 26 of the pegs needed to build were missing. So my husband had to go to Lowes and buy replacement pegs. I understand that is a delivery issue, however the rest was manufacturing issues. A lot of it with the screw and nut sets. 4 of the holes were not drilled deep enough for the screws to meet the nuts. When we tried to make the hole deeper in one side the wood split. Another issue with the nuts and screws is that one of the sets would not thread properly.
My kids were very excited with the bunk beds and once they are built they are very sturdy. Its just a damn hassle because it wasnt manufactured properly and pieces were missing in delivery
My 4 year old and my 2 year old sleep on this no problem. Easy to get on and off of. Very sturdy. Once put together you cant really move it. So build it where you want it. Its a nice height for me being only 51 because I dont have to climb to tuck my kids in. Defiantly a GREAT BUY!!!
These bunk beds looked like they were going to be exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I dont think they are.
The top and bottom bunks are held together by dowls the instructions were incomplete and inaccurate.
There are big piece stickers stuck on the outside that Im afraid to removed, for fear of the finish pulling off.
We installed two of these in a bunk room at our vacation home. It took all day to build them. But so worth the work. They look great. Seem sturdy and we can now sleep six people in one room.

Nightmare assembly. Scratched up.

GREAT BUY! Sturdy and short.
