These beds look great but it comes with too few slates to support the bed (see the before image). We bought memory foam mattresses for our boys and one of the slates broke day 2 when I leaned on it too hard, (190 lbs). Went to home Depot and spent 18 on additional wood slates and wood screws (see after picture). Much better now. The slates that came with it were 9 inches apart, now only 3/4 inches. Much better!
Bought this bed for my son because my sister recently bought it for her daughter, and we love it! Giving it 4 stars because even though we are prime members, it took 2 weeks to receive it because the first bed sent to us got lost in transit. Also the wood slats under the mattress arent as sturdy as I think they should be.
I have a 4 year old and year old twins, and I assembled the entire thing by myself in a couple hours with them running around distracting me. If youre alone, or have someone helping you, youll knock it out way faster than I did. Its pottery barn quality, so beautiful.

Just a warning that our white bed is NOT white. Its kind of a gross ivory color. We arent sending it back bc we cant wait for the bed, but Im so bummed they listed it as white when its not. You can see some of the pieces next to white trim.
I was very happy with the look and quality of these beds. Install took a bit to complete and was easier with two people. The beds look great in our grandkids guest room and seem very sturdy for them to sleep and hangout in. Theyre all pretty young so Im not sure if this will work as they grow older. Im definitely impressed with this product.
I was a bit worried if these would be good but they really are! All wood and metal parts. Very sturdy and me and my honey were able to put it together in a few hours (minimal fighting). Very pleased
We bought this because it was cheap, seemed sturdy enough and it had a good discount. Overall its good for the price. After the assembly I did feel it was a bit loose, but my kids have been using it and so far so good.
