We bought this mainly as a decoration for our Livingroom and it works perfectly as that. The heater is not meant to give off a lot of heat but it also does the job. The fan and heat comes out of the bottom of the unit so you can have decorations on top of the heater.
Purchased this for my wife and she loved the fireplace. Although we had an issue with the remote we found the customer service responsive and corrected it to our satisfaction.
I would recommend this unit, it gives off a lot of heat and we are enjoying it.
Came on time and was well packaged. I do like it and its really nice looking. It puts out enough warmth if you are in a small room perhaps, but in open or bigger spaces, youd really need 2 of these or something stronger when its cold. My Aunt tends to feel cold all the time even in warmer months. We put this in her room and she runs it almost continuously. Its done the trick because the room is about 275 squ feet so its always toasty in there. So if you are in a small room and need to take the edge off the cold then perhaps this will work for you, but if the temp drops too much and are in a bigger space, this may not be enough.
