With the help of my five-year-old of course. The bed is very sturdy and in my opinion looks great. It ended up working out perfect with the shelves I already had in the room.

Meets my needs. 130 lb box arrived with minor damage. Contents were extremely well packed almost to the point of overboard. Zero damage to anything. Why more sellers of large, heavy products cant do that is beyond me.
Instructions and assembly were straightforward. I did it myself, but at the beginning a second person would have really helped. Took less than two hours.
Surprised at the quality of the wood. I expected cheap and flimsy pressboard. This stuff isnt bad. Assembled, the entire unit looks like a quality product.
Its not for adults, though. Dont try to climb the ladder, even at 170 lbs. It will creak and the rungs wont survive even a couple adult footsteps.
So easy to put together for someone as mechanically challenged as I am. I am 30 years all and I like to sleep in the upside and I like more the space at the bottom :-)

We made a few changes to this item,overall it is good This bed is awesome!!! Very sturdy we have had up to 300 lbs on it with no problems
