My son and I use the practice basket in our backyard. Its as good as a course basket and is half the price of any comparable basket Ive priced. We love it!
Im fairly new to DG but my son is semi pro (rating 950). Weve been practicing with this for a week, and have found it to be an excellent purchase.
Contrary to another post / it dos NOT tip over, even when he ripped a disc at it. On a level surface that is. It comes with four tent stakes to optionally anchor it but we never needed them.
Very easy to put together. Fairly close to PDGA specs (see photos). Chains are noticeably lighter than standard course baskets, but thats GOOD for practice since it makes it a tad harder to get the disc in the basket. The basket walls are slanted inwards from top to bottom / top is 26 and bot is 21.5 diam, where most course baskets only reduce in diam by about an inch or so. Again, this is GOOD for practice, since occasionally it allows a disc to slide through when it wouldnt have on the course.
The welds that hold the bolts and nuts for the center pole seem to be solid, and I seriously doubt that if you were somehow able to knock the thing over, that anything would be harmed.
Easy to put together (from box to complete in 4 min). Light enough to easily carry from garage to yard.
The only problem is that there are two different/length poles provided, 21 and 26 the instructions do not say or chow which should be below the basket and which should be between the basket and hanger.
However, checking the PDGA specs makes it clear the longer 26 pole with the label on it should be between the basket and the hanger (ie in the middle).
Works great, easy to set up, and sturdy. Ive had this for a couple months and everything is great. Unfortunately the wind took my flag, so maybe improve how that stays on? It just kind of sits on a little pole on top.
Easy to put together/take apart. Sturdy, even put one on top of a hill and it stayed put. Lightweight enough to move easily. Only wish is they made a carrying case for it.
Pretty cheap but thats a given considering the price point. Assembly was easy the chains just arent very heavy. Expect a lot of spit outs but lets be real, youre buying this for your yard to kill time throwing some discs. It does the job.
Weve had this for approx four months and it has proven to be durable and easily worth the price. Yes, there are higher quality baskets out there and this is basket isnt exactly like what youd find on the coursebut it is a reliable way to practice and have fun.
Great value for the money, Im planning on buying a couple more. The chains arent as heavy as Id like but they work quite well compared to the net style chain on the basket my friend bought for a few dollars less. For the value you cant beat it though, another friend of mine bought an axiom brand basket and it was slightly less than twice the price of mine and all that was different were the chain weight and the ring around the top of basket. Overall Im very satisfied with this purchase and will buy more!

Great purchase !
Fantastic ! Well made and looks good too. The inner chains need to be hanging from hooks to prevent left/right movement, but for 70 its still quality.
Awesome value!
Great basket for this price!
The practice basket youre looking for.

Does fine for a yard target
