Only 4 stars because of assembly

This is just what I needed simple and without a high back. Its very difficult to put together. Absolutely need two people. All the decorative slats must be put in also. Sides and backIf they were already in, assembling this would have been a breeze. Looks great when finished. Updated review

    Assembly was ridiculous.

Each one of those slats/ bars in the back and foot boards are separate. Took me about an hour of actual labor, my 3 yr old kept wanting to help so altogether about an hour 45 minutes. Very nice

    Its a nice finish. Sturdy

Its a nice finish. Sturdy. Wood (not MDF). No out/gassing I can detect. Assembly took about an hour. A ratchet with a hex bit and a screw gun speed things along. The individual balusters are a bit finicky to position. Overall a very good product at a fair price compared to other day beds I have seen. If you are looking for a an occasional use bed in a spare room / this is a smart choice. Great for small spaces.

    Accurate Product Pricing

This product looks nice. Product quality is marginally better than price. Ok ok

    Nice looking inexpensive bed

I gave this product 4 stars because my instructions were not in English. Other than that it is a nice unit. The bed is a little tricky to put together but goes together in about 2 hours with a few breaks to decipher the instructions. It seems sturdy enough and looks nice. There were no missing parts and everything fit the way it was supposed to. Love these.

    Good buy!

Parts are labeled well. There is a trick installing the slats. I used a belt to hold the rails together once I got the slats installed. Very soft wood so it scratches easily. Since is only used occasionally I expect it to hold up fine. Its OK.

Bed is too short for a standard 75 long twin

Bed is too short for a standard 75 long twin mattress. The description says the bed is 77 long but the openings for the mattresses is only 74 long. The mattress arrived several days EARLY. It took a few hours to put together, no damaged/missing parts. The mattress opening is 74. The 75 twin mattress fits in the top because it can hang over the platform a bit on each end as the ends are open. On the bottom the opening between the legs is 74 which does not allow for the mattress on a trundle platform slide into the opening.

    Not easy to build

The reason I am giving this 2 stars, is purely for the fact that it couldnt have been more frustrating to put together. If you are not strong, or have 2 people to jam the pieces together to hold the side and back rails, or can fill in the blanks with instructions then do NOT buy this product. I also want to add, that the slats need to be self screwed in to the wood, with no pilot holes at all on the rails. Only thing you are given is a spacer block, to space the slats evenlythere are pre/drilled holes, but only on the slats, and not the rails it sits on. This is as far as I got before writing this review. I will update this over the next month or so, after we have had a chance to really get use it. Also, you are given tool like an Allen wrench, but you also need a Phillips head screwdrivernot included or mentioned.

    Love it!

I love this daybed! Its very very sturdy stylish too. It was a tad hard to put together because I did it alone some of the bolt holes were a tiny bit off but all in all it didnt affect the product. Worth a buy.
