Looks nice, and seems to be made of real wood, not particle board. The doors slide smoothly, and the windows are real glass. Assembly is a bit confusing, but not impossible (it took me about an hour and 15 minutes). It looks great under my TV with all of my DVDs and blu/rays in it. For size comparison, my photo has a 58 TV (and average/sized cat).
PRO/TIP: when assembling, put the first door in the rear groove. If you put in the front groove first, you wont be able to get the second door in behind it with out a lot of effort. Also, If youre not sure if youre putting in a part backwards, just visualize how its supposed to look when its completed. Thats what I did.
I absolutely love this. Took me about an hour to put together. Hardest part is the back piece. It is very sturdy and looks very nice. I have limited storage in my small kitchen. This let me store some beautiful pieces and give me more cupboard space. It is a great but especially if you are on a tight budget. Good product and definitely a value of a purchase.
I dont think of this as a kitchen pantry, but a short storage cabinet, which is what I wanted. It is relatively easy to assemble, though it comes with minimal directions. But assembly is not too bad with a bit of thought. As long as you remember that the sides with the lips are on the back. Im docking a star because of the lack of assembly instructions and I dont like the appearance of the back, which is a large sheet that has to be nailed in with a bunch of small silver/colored nail/screws. Installing the back part was the most time/consuming part of the assembly and the back is the least attractive part. As long as you put this cabinet somewhere where the back is not visible, it is a reasonably nice looking piece of furniture. The feet were a bit difficult to assemble, too, because it was hard to line up the screws with the small pre/drilled holes. The sliding doors were remarkably easy to assemble and work quite well. All in all, an attractive little cabinet that is functional and attractive from the front and sides. Assembly time for me was about 2 hours and I have put together many cabinets and other pieces of furniture, so I have done this before. I am 65 years old and I did not need any help. You will need a flat/head screwdriver, a large and small Phillips head screwdriver, and a small hammer (for the screws/nails in the back, which I hammered in then tightened with the small Phillips head). No extra assembly hardware was provided, so be careful not to misplace anything. But nothing was missing, either. (Nice job of packaging.)
After putting it together, its a nice looking storage cabinet. The instructions, could use more clarity. Thank goodness my husband is good with his hands. You got to be careful of the shelf as there are only 4 little pegs holding it up. I put this cabinet in my bathroom with decorative baskets. Beautiful color good quality
its very small so do pay attention to the dimensions closely. Also, the interior measurements are probably around 9/10 deep so if you have something more deep than that probably not a piece for you. Overall, incredibly simple to put together, I wish they designed more options. for a relatively cheap piece it is well thought out and relatively well built piece.
