Lovely little bed for children however, the mattress supports are insufficient at 9 apart. Every mattress store we visited or bed in a box we looked at required 3. Safety standards recommend 3 as well as a maximum distance between boards. Disappointing that a product such as this would not provide slats that meet this ideal.
This was purchased for my granddaughters to sleep in when they are with me. A friend put it together for me -- a friend who is also a contractor so has lots of experience. It took him less than 90 minutes. It's very well made. It's sturdy. It's pretty. The girls love being in it. I'm very glad I purchased it.
This products installation manual is almost useless. Its not user friendly. However the product is of great quality … I finally managed to get them assembled …
Overall a great bed with perfect finish. Assembling instruction is easy to follow. The bed comes only with 7 slats, which are not enough to support a mattress firmly. Adding a few 1x3 solved the issue. Budgeting for another $30 for this modification.
This was the best investment we ever did for our kids. Not only do they sleep in them but us parents find ourselves in them sometimes at night. They hold up to 600lbs for the full over full. These are very sturdy they do not wiggle comfortable to sit up in. Safe!!! The wood is very sturdy and has a real pine wood smell. This was the best decision wouldnt go for any other bed. Most beds to the weight limit is under 300 not including mattress. These are again 600lbs for top and bottom.

Directions to assemble were a little hard to follow but once we got it together, we were very pleased. Sturdy and looks great.

Bed broke after 1yr 3wks. Dont buy.
We got the bed June 2, 2021, and it broke June 21, 2022. What terrible quality. And our daughter is 4yo and under 30lbs.
Hole no completely drilled out between bunks
Easy solution stick a screw driver and hit it on top hole and bottom hole.

It smells weird for days
A little wobbly, but the wood and paint look nicer than others. Took months to air out. It left behind a weird odor (like plastic or paint fumes?).
