I had this for some weeks now and it is very useful to get to work. Its fun to go and feel the wind. It has a decent battery life I will say in reality it last about 18/20 Miles on some bumps and few hill terrain. The only thing is that top speed of 20 doesnt retain after the first bar goes out. 18 mph is top speed in reality. Its is also still heavy. Overall its a great e bike. Folding and detachable battery are pluses in my book.
After receiving and riding a couple of times within a month of purchase I liked the ability to fold the bike and load/unload in my suv with ease. Its light enough for me as a female to pick up after folding and unfolding. I really enjoyed riding; encourages me to bike ride more often than using basic multi speed bike. I have not charged my battery because it remained fully charged while riding. What I didnt like is after riding the second time my front brake pad started scrubbing which was strange. They appeared a little loose so I have to take it to a bike shop to have them complete a maintenance . But why were the front brake pad loose. Installed as instructed. That wasnt good at all; kind of dangerous if you ask me.
We purchased the shortly after purchasing a 500 watt Ecotric that was about the same price. Im glad that we were able to test them both out in real world experiences to see the differences. The , J is by far my favorite for several reasons but the Ecotric, E does have some advantages. Like the E has 4 tires and is definitely better in sand to the point that whoever was riding The J would sometimes need to get off and push in spots that the E could power through. The J however is far better in sooo many different areas. It accelerates a lot faster because the motor kicks in as soon as you start pedaling compared with the E that has about a 1 second lag. The suspension on the J is aming, simply put. Going over railroad tracks, through gutters and on trails and rocky terrain this wins hands down over the E that uses only the tires for suspension. The J has a barrier between the tube and tire that has made a world of difference in not getting flats. My 14 year old son and I have driven these bikes for several hundred miles around our valley and mountain trails over the summer. (Which is another reason Im glad I purchased 2 bikes. What a great experience.) The E picked up 3 flats from thorns this summer driving through the same areas as the J, which picked up thorns that didnt go through to the tube and didnt get any flats. Thats right! 750 miles with no flat tires. We can say that they both are terrible in snow. No surprise. Too slippery for only 2 wheels. The J is far better on slopes because you can throttle at the same time while pedaling and it muscles you up the slight hills youll find while driving through the citys. They both suck at climbing the steep mountain hills, though the J does a little better at those as well. Now for the negatives.
One of the reasons for choosing the was in March 2022 the top speed was advertised at 26mph.(now I see its advertised at 20mph) The display says youre going 26 but your really only going about 22mph which is the real top speed. Disappointing. They were able to do this by setting the tire size in the on board computer to 22 instead of the 20 that it really is. I found out how to access that in the display and change it, now it reads accurately. Also the special screw that holds the left pedal on fell off and I lost it in the dark causing me to have to throttle the rest of the way to work. Purchased a new screw but now I need to tighten it constantly while riding because it wont stay tight. Lesson learned. These bikes do need a little tinkering all the time. Make sure bolts and screws are tight and know how to adjust/tighten the brakes. These are heavy bikes and we found that the brakes do need constant adjustment. Its easy to do and only takes a minute. Weve used the folding feature many times to put it in our camping trailer and the back of our vehicles. But the location of the key has caused it to be bent by the pedal a few times during the process. Ive learned to take the key out before folding. The seat wasnt horrible but wasnt the best. Ive replaced it twice. Its hard to find comfortable seats for these.
The positives out weigh the negatives to the point that I wish I would have purchased 2 of these instead of the Ecotric.
While I do recommend this bike for the price. My next ebike will be one with a bigger motor that really can go 26mph + just to make it easier, and funner while driving in traffic.
We really are enjoying our bikes a lot! E/
bikes are a great alternative to regular
bikes making it possible to pedal if you
want and not work so hard for instance
if you are going up a hill. We recommend
this bike. It does take a bit to assemble
but nothing impossible.
Best purchase I made all year! quality was evident when I bought the EB5 in the pictures weeks earlier. The EB7is even better if thats possible. More powerful motor, though the EB5 has PLENTY ! More features, 5 power assist levels, Fat tires, Full suspension, Fully enclosed battery, Foldable!!, easily adapted to fit my 52 wife, or me at 61. Quality of build, price, features, and packed VERY well, with easy 20 minute assembley time, all helped make me a very happy owner. I look forward to miles of smiles with my EB7 and EB5. And besides the EB7 matches my Hummer ! I love it !
This bike far exceeds my expectation, i bought it, with my weight in mind, im over 300lbs, so i wouldnt have expected to get the top speeds, or the greatest battery life. however thats exactly what has happened, i got this bike on Oct 02, 2022. i use it to ride to work every day, and have so far as of Oct 18, 2022 put over 250 miles on it. just holding down the throttle i easily go 20mph, if i pedal with it i go about 22/25mph. i ride this bike 10 miles in each direction, and amingly i can do it on a single charge. all without having to pedal once, i have noticed though that the more i pedal, the longer the battery holds its charge, almost as if its being slightly charged when i pedal without using the throttle. The only complaint i would have is the seat isnt to my liking but thats my own fault for my size and weight lol. i highly recommend this bike, i have immensely enjoyed it.

Great Ebike!!! Super fun to ride!!!
I live in the Mountains and my legs would be sore if I rode a regular bike but with the Ebike the ride is relaxing and fun.
Its not bad
