Seat does not attach firmly to chair. Bought 2 one looks shiny and new the other looks used. Dull in color, dirty, cover on bottom very worn. If I had time I would return them.
they are very nice chairs for the price.
my complaints are that on the top of the chair backings you can see where the wood meets (just an appearance con).
secondly, i bought the table that goes with it (the bigger/wider one) and these stool are entirely too tall for the table. keep this in mind. my legs literally do not fit under the table. i liked the look of these more than the ones without back support, but I will probably be cutting the chairs down because if i were to buy expanders (which already come with the table) i dont feel there would be enough support.
overall nice chairs. i recommend measuring the table and chair height before purchase.
putting both together took me about 1.5 hours by myself.
Great bar stool for our peninsula countertop. Just what we needed backless and comfortable with nice cushion on the saddle seat. Sturdy and easy to assemble.
These stools are comfy enough (time will tell) and seem pretty sturdy - 1/8 channel. Assembly is straight forward and easy enough but I recommend using threadlock. The tabs and pre-drilled holes to attach the seats were the downfall. The tabs aren't 90 degrees as they should be, I had to bend most of them to get them to seat flush against the seat. The holes are too far in, which put them on the edge of the wood supports. Luckily, there's enough metal there to drill new holes close to the edge of the seat so the screws can get a good, solid hold. Also, I used more aggressive 3/4 screws than the plain-jane 1/2 ones that came with it. Lastly, there is a little wobble in both stools - with 4 legs and imprecise manufacturing that'll happen - but not to the point that they're unusable or move too much when you sit on them... unless you rock back and forth.
Stools came as advertised. Easy to assemble. Really comfortable. Colors look great. No damage. I added felt sliders for my flooring, probably not necessary. Just put them together a few minutes ago, so total success remains to be determined, but after 20 minutes, I recommend
