Solid barstools. Had more weight to them than expected (a good thing). Very sturdy. Most difficult part of assembly was putting the foot rest / bar around the legs and the back rest on. Get all the screws started before tightening any them down when putting these pieces on and you'll have no problem. Would definitely recommend and buy again! I'm sure these will last many years of good use.
The rustic industrial look is perfect for my untraditional home. Ez to put together. As a reseller of furniture (antique dealer) I see a lot of furniture. What I like most about this design is the metal foot rest: So many bar stools either don't have or are wood rungs which never hold up! The curved back is comfortable, the swivel is a key selling point....makes it so much easier getting up, in and out. The color tones of the wood are fabulous--Has gray undertones...no yellows or reds here. Hooray! The metal accents are not the overused iron black but rather a lighter raw umber/gray/black metal color. Perfect compliment to contemporary, rustic, or industrial color palettes. The brass nail heads go well with my other leather furniture. My only complaint. ...no feet included!!!There are holes, but no feet. I went online and found two part hardware feet in a specialty store....first the metal insert that pounds in and has spikes, then the screw in feet with built in soft pads...and adjustable for uneven floors. Manufacturer should have included as ones I found are not a perfect fit. So potential for damage exists. Also to manufacturer...I would have paid extra for real leather because the faux leather will not stand up to years of use.
These chairs look like the image on screen. They were easy for my hussband to assemble with minimal help from me.
The chairs look beautiful. We need to get pads for the chair bottoms. We used these as seating for our counter height
table and they are comfortable and the swivel really makes it convenient.
