Pros: Great tent with a lot of room inside. Easily can fit two blow up mattress with room to walk and store gear. Rain guard system works good with great drainage away from tent
Cons: Open screen porch can accumulate a lot of water when raining. Had to elevate part of the front to drain water to front and sides. Wish Colman made an extended rain guard, for this tent, so it could cover more of the front porch area to keep water out.
Overall: Money well spent! A little water never hurt anyone but keep in mind, dont store equipment or gear in the porch area if chance of rain.
I love 60% of this tent. Its roomy and fairly easy to set up. Ive used it twice both in rain. The screen porch is an utter disaster in the rain. It pool water, turns everything to mud and is such a mess when its time to pack up. After This second trip, Im actually considering cutting off the porch floor so it can drain and have a chance of drying. Ill use it until it falls apart, but I will not get the porch feature again.
Would have given it 5 stars, but it already had a small half-dollar sized hole in the floor of the tent when we unpacked it the first time. Didnt get to test it in the rain yet, but it held up great to wind. My dog figured out the zipper on the porch and helped himself in and out of the tent (mostly in, hes not an outdoor dog). Porch added an extra barrier for bugs in the main part of the tent too. Plenty of windows for ventilation on really hot days that allowed a nice breeze through the tent. Plenty of room for our queen sized bed and all our gear. We camped 6 days and it held up great!
Great tent! Quality product. Its very big, easy to setup, and easy to take down. The screened in porch area is pretty big, enough to fit two chairs in if needed. Also having a screen door before the tent door is extremely handy when trying to keep out unwanted bugs.
Pros: height and great room for 2 people plus bags or pet , screened front area very usable. Cons: Really for 4 people max, back screened side too open so not a good tent for regular NW summers. I wish it had the possibility to close that back screen like on the sides or at least cover 90% of the surface and not 20%
After thoroughly field testing this tent, i can say that it one of the best tents Ive ever bought. Upon its arrival my friend and I set it up and little trouble. I should note however that we have previous tent and camping experience, and did not need directions. This turned out to be a good thing, because this tent doesnt come with any! Its fairly self explanatory, and we had practically no trouble until we got to the rain fly. After some trial and error, we got it up. The whole first time set up probably took 15-20 minutes. I thoroughly inspected the tent for any issues with seams/tears/ zippers and found none. The only note Id add is that the porch door has a small space where the three zippers meet where very small things could POSSIBLY get in. There is also some netting at the base of the door, which Im guessing is for rain run off, as it is slanted away from the roof. We took it down right after and packed it with no troubles, probably five minutes.
When it finally came time to go camping, the whole thing was a breeze. I had already set it uo once, and the second time went much more smoothly. We were the first of our group to get be completely set up, because 75% of there time was wasted on a complicated tent. We stayed two nights, and had zero issues. Our tent even ended up being the hangout! The zippered porch was brilliant. I can not stress that enough. We kept our coolers on it and while everyone was battling mosquitoes, we were happily munching on our breakfast. Only 2 people slept in this tent, but there was more than enough room for another couple. has never let me or my family down. And Id buy this tent again in a heartbeat.

Great tent for warm weather, not so good for NW summer nights

Oversized child play pen! Excellent!
Took this camping with our 1 year old! She had a good place to play and romp when not outside.
