Exactly what we were looking for! Baskets are a bit rough on the woodwork and will need to be covered on the bottom so as not to scratch the wood when pulling them out.
This unit is in our entryway and is the perfect width for the small space we had for it. The cushion seems to be memory foam and is very comfy to sit on. The under/bench storage is a bonus as well / we keep our winter mittens/gloves in one bin and hats in the other. Perfect for keeping things organized.
This product is exactly as I asked for. Wife wanted something to store the decorating pillows and keep extra set of sheets. This also makes the bed look classier and grand.
The center of the lid is somewhat hollow so I wouldnt recommend sitting on it. Not sturdy for a person over 150/160 lbs. They might fall over. I am just using the corners to put on socks when I need to. Plenty of storage and its higher than the average ottoman.
I would recommend buying. The bed was Bellvern Upholstered bed from Ashley furniture online which matches the color for this exactly.
