This bench was just what we wanted for the mud room area. As some reviews noted, it required a bit of cleaning up in the compartments. It was mostly just loose fibers from the baskets. We put some contact shelf paper in the compartment floor to help the baskets slide more easily. Its great to have a unit actually made of wood at this price point. Works nice in an informal room setting. Would buy again.

I was excited to order this already assembled piece. The bench itself seems great. Only complaint is that I ordered the distressed white and it seems more creamy than pictured. The bench arrived dirty which is fixable. It is the baskets that are the main issue. They are filthy and cleaning them thoroughly doesnt seem possible. There is black soot and potentially mold all over them. I was going to use in a nursery area, and that is not happening at this point. I have messaged the company and am waiting for a response. I will update and hopefully change my rating to a higher one once a response from the company is received.
If they are willing to replace or offer reimbursement so the baskets can be replaced that would be helpful. Otherwise I may have to return the entire piece.
