    Not bad for the price

The kids love the new bunkbed.its not as deep of an espresso as I would have liked but its not that bad. Sturdy enough for the time being and for the price it isnt bad.

Well made and everything fit fairly easily

Do not be discouraged by the negative reviews. This a a nice solid bed at a very reasonable price. The holes were all drilled in the proper places. I made a few mistakes along the way, but they were all fixable. I think it is a one person job. Just take your time and enjoy it. Probably took about 5/7 hours all together, but I wasnt really keeping track. 1. Two pieces arrived with hairline cracks in them. We sent in the form and new pieces arrived in about a week. 2. Be sure that you have the railing on the bottom faced the way you want it for the ladder. 3. I was working alone in a small room. So after I build the bottom bunk and assembled the ends of the top, I stacked the upper bunk ends on the bottom and then worked from there. One end was up against the wall, so it wasnt going to fall over. That way I had room to work, was standing up, and didnt need help stacking them later when they were heavier. 4. I waited til the last step to screw in all the support slats. It seems that some of them could get in the way of where the ladder attaches to the side rails. 5. Had a little trouble getting the top rails (M?) on the back side in. I sawed off about 1/8 of an inch off one peg and then it fit. 6. Id recommend that you use your own Allen wrench. The one provided is ok, but I submitted a picture with some of these comments inserted.

    Aming quality for the price!!!!

This bed is solid wood and completely sturdy. My boys love sleeping in it and we couldnt be happier with our purchase!!! A best buy for sure.

    Sturdy and looks great

Just put it together so cant say much about durability. It was easy to put together, able to get both bed together in about 4 hrs. The instructions were mostly pictures but the hardware were packaged and numbered so well I didnt even need to read the written instructions. Shipping was fast with prime.

    Good for us

These look JUST like the picture. They are perfect for my 6 and 3 year/old children but are not very sturdy. They wobble when the ladder is climbed on; just slightly but its still a wobble. Overall, my kids absolutely LOVE them and they are just what we expected. Set up was not too hard, about an hour with two men. Instructions were easy to follow.

Excellent bunk bed / especially for the price

Beds arrived in several boxes. Took about two hours to put together / very easy to follow the directions, though there are quite a few parts and steps. Take your time and youll have no trouble. We set these up as a bunk bed and theyre very sturdy. The top bunk is not as high as some of the other beds we considered / a selling point for younger kids. The finish is excellent and the items were well protected in the shipping boxes. Recommended!

    Excellent bunk for the price

Attractive honey wood color and feels relatively solid once its together. Even smells good. Looks great in the room and both adults and kids enjoy sleeping on it. Some reviews mention that there arent enough slats to support the mattress but no one has complained thus far (including a 200lb 6 foot+ person). Warning: It ships with a ton of disassembled, smaller pieces and is NOT easy to put together. My dad and a friend worked on it while I was doing an airport run and it took them over 2 hours. And they ended up with the ladder on the wrong side of the bed (fixable with a few extra drilled holes), and one extra screw that Im hoping is not a vital component.

    solid/sturdy//LOVE this bunk bed!

First of all, I rated this product a solid 5if I could have given a rating of 10, I would have! The price is great, and the bed is very easy to assemble. My husband did the majority of the assembly by himself. Color is true to picturegreat dark color. The allen wrench tool is a little hard on the fingers so if you have your own allen wrench, we would recommend using your own. Once the bed is put together, it is VERY sturdy. It does not wobble or shake. One thing we noticed was the placement of the screw holes in the bottom bunk as it relates to the ladder. We followed the instructions, but didnt realize that we had the bottom bunk turned around until after we had affixed the ladder to the top bunk. This turned out to be an easy fix, but I would recommend anyone else ensure the holes are in proper placement prior to affixing the ladder.

    Super solid

My husband and I found these beds fairly simple to assemble; the boards are all clearly labeled, the hardware comes in clearly marked, easy/open packages, and an Allen/key is included/ though, I would recommend having a power drill available for the Phillips/head screws. With help from our two/ and four/year/old children we got these put together in about two hours. As some other reviewers have noted, there is a little back/tracking necessary in the assembly, specifically, removing some of the mattress supports for installation of the ladder. We also skipped ahead to the ladder before putting on the middle safety rail support on the ladder side, because the holes for the support arent pre/drilled. If youre slightly mechanically inclined, you should have no problem. The packaging indicates these beds are for children six years or older, but my 2/y.o. daughter and 4/y.o. son are quite adept at climbing into the bottom bunk and up the ladder to the top. I dont see any mention of this age restriction in the listing, but its moot to us, as our kids are always up for a challenge. The finish is a fairly dark brown, which I like, and the pieces fit together well, with no unfinished edges visible. As noted in the title, when assembled as bunk beds or free standing, they are quite sturdy. I can stand on the footboard slats and reach into the top bunk without a wiggle from the frame. All/in/all, I would definitely recommend these beds to anyone looking for bunk/beds.

    Great bed, aming price

This bed arrived today. It took me an easy 2 hours to assemble. I used a cordless drill to speed up the process. It was very, very simple to assemble. Probably the easiest piece of furniture i have ever assembled. You will need at least a philips screw driver, but a cordless drill made it effortless. The directions were clear. There was no damage do to shipping. The finish to the bed is very pleasing. It is 100 real wood. No fiber board or plywood. The box is long and heavy, as should be expected. I carried it by myself, but it is really a two person job. It is very sturdy. It should last for years and years of use. Like all wood furniture, Im sure if it is abused it will break. The ladder is a little slick due to the beds nice finnish.I will be adding some gripping tape to it. I could not be more pleased. A similar bed in a furniture store would cost twice as much.
