I purchased this for my college student to use due to the price and look but it honestly exceeded my expectations. Its a really nice looking desk and sturdy on both carpet and hard floors. My only complaint is that THIS IS A COMPLETE PAIN IN THE A TO ASSEMBLE. A second person and a power drill take some of the frustration out. The Allen wrench provided is extremely hard to use to assemble the entire desk unless you have a lot of hand strength
Its a really great desk and I mainly purchased it because the price was hard to beat and it has storage/shelves. I will say putting it together was an absolute pain in the butt. My fingers were aching by the time I was done because the little wrench is TINY and hard to turn. It is very lightweight which is good but also bad because it gets pretty wobbly when writing. However, I needed an office desk that took up minimal space and wasnt expensive and this desk was perfect.
Was upgrading to a bigger desk since I'm going back to school and considering how inexpensive it is, it's a fantastic desk! Put it together by myself within an hour or so, it's very sturdy and holds a lot of weight. I'm 5'9 and there's plenty of leg room underneath too!
Overall a great find and easy to assemble.
My daughter asked for a desk to do her schoolwork on It is a very nice desk it is sturdy and I like the color of the wood we bought the deep brown We are very happy with it
Pros:
- aesthetically pleasing
- has shelves, and they can be assembled on either side of desk
- reasonably priced
- somewhat easy to assemble (took me around 1 hour or so)
Cons:
- desk shakes when writing on a piece of paper. This is the main reason Im giving it 4 and not 5 stars. Could this be due to my floor being uneven? Maybe. But it seems like the desk is just not sturdy enough to me.
- I messed up the orientation of a couple of pieces during assembly. I feel like the directions could have been a bit clearer on which way to orient certain holes/pieces.
I had no trouble following the directions that came with the desk to put it together. I did have my mom help with holding some of the pieces while I was screwing the pieces together, but it took me about an hour to finish solely with using the directions. I've tested out my printer on it just now, and the desk didn't shake at all (unlike the printer stand I had before). Plenty of room on top, which is good. Looking forward to years of use.

Quality product for the price
I received the product very late. But nonetheless, the desk was of great quality and clear assembly instructions.
