Beautiful just disappointed in the marks

Absolutely love this bed! It was easy to build and looks very sophisticated for a tween bedroom. I was very disappointed that there was some marks on the frame black lines to be exact. Delivery whats a little bit late.

Good value and very pretty bed

We bought the bed and the matching under-bed drawers. Everything fit together very nicely. Parts are numbered and marked L and R to make assembly easier. Holes lined up, screws fit. The drawers fit perfectly under the bed. I am extremely sensitive to odor, and there really wasnt much of a smell. This is made of solid wood, not particle board. We bought 1/4 inch plywood to put over the slats to support the mattress. The slats may be spaced a bit far apart, but we didnt try the bed with just the slats so I cant say for sure. We used 8 moderately firm mattresses, decent quality. They work very well on this bed. I am impressed with the way the bed and drawers were carefully planned, labeled and manufactured. One trick that made assembly easier - put the top lip of the piece which holds the white slats that make up the front and back of the bed on the floor with the holes facing up. Insert the slats and then put the bottom piece on while its still upside down. It helps if someone holds one end to keep the slats in place while someone else guides the slats into position. Hold on tightly to the top and bottom when you flip it over. That was the only tricky part of the entire assembly. My granddaughter was extremely pleased with her new bed. I feel we made a good choice, and would recommend this bed to others. I am going to look for a and dresser next.

    Cute and Sturdy!

Extremely sturdy, strong enough for an adult to lay on. Very cute and perfect for my child who is transitioning to a twin.

    Pretty dang cool bed

Its a great bed. I put it together by myself and it took about 4 hours. Wasnt that hard. I would recommend wiping down after with a wet towel to get excessive paint off my 3 year old loves his bed.

    Best Bed Ive ever had

I absolutely love this bed. The only thing that I would have changed was buying a slim box spring for the mattress. I improvised and got some plywood cut to the size of the frame and screwed to the wooden slats that came with the bed. It makes no noise, it is very sturdy and looks beautiful.

    Poundage, assembly, beauty

Beautiful piece of furniture. Very affluent looking. It looks nice with and without bedding. Not at all cheap or low quality appearing. The fervent wood scent (not odor) dissipates in one day (low VOC); however, smells really nice if you like the scent of nature. The hardware is sturdy and NOT oily like other DIY furniture. Neatly packaged and VERY EASY to assemble. The best suggestion I can give to people is, if youre not used to or not good at DIY, then take your time. Open all hardware and lay out in groups (the two packs of hardware work in concert—NOT one bag per bed. Unwrap all wood sets snd pay CLOSE attention to the number stickers in the main pieces ANDto the direction in which you install/position each wood piece/panel. Take your time! if youre not used to DIY furniture. I built ours in 1.5 hours, with assembly assistance (xtra pair of hold and lift hands). This bunk is a smart buy because I buy with multiple children in mind. How can a childs friend, sibling(s), or even one parent visit him or her on their bunk if it only holds from 165 to 250 lbs.? This bunk holds 400 lbs. each. Talk about quality sister time

Great quality, beats hands down if you are wondering

We bought three of these for our three boys that have outgrown the twin beds. I am the son of a carpenter and have been around building things including furniture a long time. Ive also built a lot of furniture. This bed overall is very well made. I dont see the fingerboard (google it) construction that you see in some of the unpainted products. Also, I much prefer the heavier duty of the lats on this bed vs. . There is one piece of MDF ( that is the front panel on the bed) otherwise the rest is solid wood and nice and thick. Also the furniture covered bolts are much thicker and its nice to have all the dowels pre-inserted. I think I built the entire bed in around 20 minutes and that includes unpacking. The packaging is also very high quality and you can see they packed it with delivery to residents in mind. overall very happy so far. Will report back after a few months and how they survive a move.
