I wouldnt be comfortable letting kids sleep in this...

I was only going to be reimbursed for one bed (after a fire), but I needed two, so I bought this bunk bed and used them as separate beds instead. Let me just say that the beds are very flimsy. Maybe it would have been different had I built the bunk bed as intended, but I doubt it. You can feel the frame shift if you lean and push on it. I feel like youd break it if you jumped on it.If I had kids, I dont think theyd be safe in this bed. You know theyre going to jump all over it. Anyway, if you can trust that the occupants of this bunk bed wont be jumping around on it, then I think its a solid price for a bunk bed.

    Dark wood bunk beds

Perfect for a bunk room at the lake house. Gorgeous deep brown color. Well made. Only one issue.....Did not like all the white warning stickers all over the end of one of the panels. Cant get them off, and it looks terrible. I took 1 star off for the tacky stickers

    2 hr instal. Looks good.

Arrived safe and sound... all the wood was nice, no chips or cracks. It came with the right number of pieces and hardware. Looks great. My only real concern is that the main support beams are connected to the frame with a little metal bracket that is only attacked to the frame with (4) small, gold, screws. The piece of wood (on the frame) that the bracket is attached to is pretty thin too... not quite as sturdy as I would have hoped. The kids that will be sleeping in the bed are 40lbs and 25lbs.. so I’m sure they will be fine BUT I may be updating my review post wear and tear. I also don’t like the vertical ladder that’s built into the frame. I would like it better if it leaned on the bed and was easier to climb. But I knew that’s how it was designed when I purchased it. It took my husband and I (2) hours on the dot to put it all together. We took our time, had a snack break, even stopped midway through to take apart the queen sized bed already in the room (that the bunk bed is intended to replace), all the while, with a 2 and 4 years old in the room “helping.” I read some reviews that said it took 6-9 hrs to install... I don’t even know how that’s possible. However, this is definitely a two person job.

    Solid Bunk

Was not too hard to assemble, seems very sturdy and little one is a happy camper. Would recommend. Very disappointed though with as the price dropped $50 the day it was delivered and they won’t price match. should have a grace period for price changes.

    Have held up really well.

We just wanted two double beds with the possibility to bunk them. We have had these for almost 2 years now. We have never bunked them... but as 2 double beds they have been perfect for our two (not small) teen boys. We have never had any problems!

    Excellent Customer Service!

After a week of use, my boys love it! Sturdy construction! 5 star review for customer service. One part had a defective inset grommet that would not allow a bolt to thread. Contacted customer service and they immediately overnight a new part. We love it.

    Great quality and beautiful!

Looks and feels very solid. All the pieces were included and delivered in great shape. All 3 boxes came together. It took two evenings for 2 people, even making mistakes like switching the slats that were already placed on the wrong bed. Maybe 4 hrs total not rushing. Were very pleased with it!

    Great Purchase

Spent a lot of time reviewing options. Bought 2 units.Wood is solid, non-toxic, no off-gas etc. When built, this is a solid unit. Comfortably manages a 190lb adult and a 50lb kid on the top bunk to read stories. No wobble. Selected a shallower mattress for the top to fit below the rail and a deeper mattress at the bottom. Kids LOVE these beds and with the trundle, you have room to sleep 3 or 4 kids no problem - or adults! Make sure you know exactly where you want them, as moving once assembled is a beast. I bought some slim stick-up lights to affix to the ceiling of the lower bunk to read stories by. Only downside I see is the stickers to cover the screw holes are just ok - theres likely a better way to cover the holes than these. Overall, strong recommend for this product.
