It took the two of us old codgers 5 hours to assemble, but no pieces were missing and we love it, and so do the grandkids. The only fault with it is that the captains drawers have no guides, so I have to fenagle them into place, but no biggie.
Part of the top bunk railing had mold on it. Most of the drawers would not fit together properly as well as the frame. There are several gaps along parts of the frame from not fitting together correctly. The ladder is very unstable as it will not tighten.
However it is sturdy and very nice once together. I however feel it is not worth what I paid for since several areas did not fit together properly.
BEWARE I - this product is delivered in 2 packages that arrived on different days. (Not a big deal, just to let you know, as I was confused when a second large package arrived)

You have to follow the instructions carefully and it took a while to get it put together, but it is great. The slats seem a bit further apart than I would have liked. Very happy with how it looks and how sturdy it is.
I have my doubts when I purchase this. But after assembling it, it’s actually a good buy my 2 boys loved it, the steps is not to high and very sturdy. It’s like a beginners bunk bed for my 2 boys . The bunk itself is not too high just about right for a 4 and 5 yrs old .
I searched a while for a heavy duty bunk bed. I wanted a bed that could hold adults and this was exactly what I needed. Real wood with metal bolts and nuts. I put this together myself in 2 hours with an electric drill. Spend the extra 300-400 bucks and get a solid bunk bed rather than beds made out of glued wood. Happy with my purchase.
The bed was very easy to assemble. The instructions were great. I was able to assemble alone up until the point of needing assistance to lift the bunk on top.
One issue I faced is the slats are cut very rough and therefore require some gloves when handling to avoid getting splinters. I am sanding each piece down. Wish they were sanded before sending as they can be very hazardous for children and during the assemble.
Delivery was quick, it arrived much faster than I anticipated. Parts were well packaged.

Two person job
Use an Allen wrench bit with a ratchet and it will be easier than the one they provide

Great, but some rough wooden pieces (Hazard)
