Great platform. Sturdy and quiet. I was looking for replacement for our aged and broken down bed boxes. The top mattress is Tempur Pedic, so its quite heavy in addition to 2 adults. No squeaking or any other noises. Great.
I didnt want to spend a lot of many on a new bed. I was skeptical as to what the quality of this bed was going to be as the price was very reasonable, in my opinion. This bed is sturdy, incredibly well machined and easy to assemble. We have a Tuft and Needle mattress, and it is very comfortable on this bed. I have zero complaints. The bed is not meant for a box spring.
This is a great platform bed. We have bought 2 of them. They are sturdy and well made. Ours is 14 inches high and we have a 12 inch mattress on it. No need for a box spring. It is just the right height for us. It is simple and clean, no squeaking or wobbling. We bought one for our bedroom and liked it so much, we bought a second one for our guest room. We threw the old beds out. It is very clean elegant wood and was very easy to put together, it took about 20 minutes. Highly recommended.
The packing for my King Size Bed Frame was phenomenal. This is because there is an outside box covering an inside box with just enough styrofoam inside plastic wrapping to keep all the pieces protected and tightly packed securely. Someone in packing at deserves an A+ for how they packed my bed frame. Luckily there was a cardboard box in a cardboard box because somewhere in the shipping process the outer box got torn up . The Inner box and packaging allowed the bed frame contents to arrive in pristine shape.
The instructions were pretty straight forward. All parts are labelled taking the guess factor out which piece you use for what down to a minimum.
The star of the setup process is the ratchet which can be used to tighten all the bolts with allen key inserts. It is also has an Allen Key for the bolts. But the ratchet makes putting all the pieces together for the bed so much easier. I have assembled beds before with just an allen Key and it can be tedious.
I love the 12 slats strung together with Velcro tape. Those slat are not moving. Once the bed frame was fully assembled everything seem stable and sturdy.
This bed now lives in my basement as a guest room bed holding my old sleep number mattress.
I am very happy with my purchase.
This frame was so easy to construct and follow the directions. They even provided a better tool than the normal Allen wrench that made screwing everything in even faster. So thats all well and good but the real seller is that this frame is really beautiful! I am so satisfied with this purchase
