The hose nozzle broke when trying to attach water hose on the very first use. We had to tie the hose to the top of the slide to make it work. Otherwise the kids had fun, but it should not be broken right out of the box
Bought this for a grandchilds birthday. Parents rave over it. Even with numerous kids, it has held up fantastic. They have even loaned it out for friends birthday parties. The parents finally admitted they have even played on it with the kids!
Purchased in 2016 and this is the third summer that weve used it. We use it almost every weekend during the summer for our grandchildren who are 4, 5 and 6 years old. The largest is 54 lbs. It has held up beautifully! Set up is a breeze but take down can be a chore. It is worth it. After use we stand on the edge until the wading part is empty then turn off the blower and my husband and I carry it to the front yard and start the blower again after placing it on the concrete driveway. Dries super fast, about an hour. Then we deflate, roll it up and put it in its bag for storage. Important to check the climbing holes and handles before storing because any dampness will cause mildew. Did that once and was able to clean it but were very careful now. Sometimes we just move it to a dry spot in the yard but it dries faster on the concrete. The wind will blow it when drying if its not anchored. If time is short we tilt it on its side to dry the bottom faster.
We ordered this slide back in February for our daughters birthdays (2 and 4) and they love it. Its the perfect size for toddlers. I wouldnt really recommend this slide for kids over 7 or 8, depending on their size and how much they roughhouse. Weve been using this slide for months and the girls love it. Now that its warm Ive tried to plug the hose into it for a water slide and it just doesnt work. The part that should pour water onto the slide just sprays water everywhere. In their face, up in the air, side to side. Basically everywhere but the slide. We just fill up the bottom as a pool and leave it at that. Also, this slide being so good for small children is because its small. We blow it up in our kitchen when its raining out and let them play. I mean its not big by any means. This slide also does not come with a blower, youll have to add one onto your order. Ours came in the mail about 4 days apart when we ordered them on the same day with prime, and Im not really sure why. Added photos of it with water and inside our house as a reference.
I bought this for my in-home daycare (as well as my own kids) and they all LOVE IT! My kids range in age from 1.5 to 6 years old. Im really glad I got this as opposed to the smaller options. It says its for ages 5-10 but I would highly recommend for as young as 2. Love the netting on top to protect them from falling and the little pool area is great for the 1.5 year old to splash in. Win, win all around for our own little splash pad in the backyard. never disappoints
UPDATE: After just a few hours we noticed the stitching coming apart at one of the climbing hole seams which appears to be a manufacturer issue. Im returning this one and having replace with a new one so make sure you double check yours! Also, I couldnt for the life of me figure out the best way to store it for daily use. My husband found this Rubbermaid Brute Garbage can at Lowes and its perfect. After use, we drain the slide, blow it up again and let it dry for a few hours. Then roll it up and stick it in the Brute! Works amazing. Hoping this allows for many more summers of fun!
We bought this for our daughter since our old one was getting too small for her. She absolutely loves it. The hose hookup seems wonky, but it actually plugs into the hose and then screws onto the end. Once you have that piece secured youre good to go. The only thing is I wish the wall was higher next to the slide, because they have almost slide over the side a couple times.
