Took about three hours for me to assemble alone. Contained all the parts and plenty of extras. All pieces arrived in good shape.
My left side door sits very tight in the stand, to the point it rubs and pushes the frame enough to concern me. Checked everything and rebuilt this whole section and still have the same result. I took one star off for this... Ill just open it sparingly.
It is laminate over particle board... not hardwood. The price should be a giveaway there.
Assembly instructions were well written. It took a while to assemble but looked like it had been professionally assembled when done. Looks more expensive than it cost.
It was hard to put together, and there were 4 screws missing. We had to buy them at the local hardware store. But it does look nice when you finally get it together. We like it.
This is a nice TV Cabinet and fits my 42 TV perfectly. Took about (2) hours to put together -- must be patient; many, many parts. But, once done really nice looking. Have to replace (1) piece because of a blister in the wood which may become a problem down the road. Looks really good in my small TV room -- perfect size. My components fits just fine. Packaging was pretty good but he box it came in was terrible -- lucky TV stand not impacted.
I love it very much but the doors are not even. I tried putting taking them off and putting them on again but it still did not work. but for the most part the stand was easy to put together.
I agree with reviewers who comment on the excellent directions, numbered and labeled pieces and small parts (right down to the tiniest of screws), and clear step-by-step instructions. I am a handy person but a novice furniture assembler, and one thing I learned is that you just cant go too fast if you are new to this, no matter how good the instructions are. The mistakes I made were entirely my own fault: I thought I can whip this thing together in an hour, easy! and zoomed along, only to discover that I put glue into the wrong hole or put a piece on backwards, or assumed that two pieces of hardware in a small bag were for the top corners of the two doors -- when in fact they were the top and bottom corners of one door. So a word to the novices out there: take it slow. Read all the directions. And dont be fooled by the folks who say its a one-hour job: not likely unless you assemble A LOT of furniture. (It took me about 2 1/2 hours, and then another hour to move all my equipment from the old stand to the new -- so figure youre in it for the afternoon). My one complaint? Not the absence of holes for the bottom shelf (mine had two) but the virtual impossibility of separating the large black dots from their backing (these are designed to cover the cam locks). Aside from that I think this is a great piece for the money. Very solid, attractive, and perfect for my 48 flat screen, DVD, apple TV, cable box, and old VCR. And the remotes work through the glass so need to open the cabinet doors. A winner.
For 150 bucks it is worth the money. Takes about two hours to assemble. Parts are labeled and not too horrible. Wood is not high quality. Hence why so cheep. Worth the money.

Kind of cheap however what I expected for the price
Great Directions But BE CAREFUL

Four Stars
I love this center. However, the shelving unit will NOT accommodate a regular sized DVD player.
