You definitely get what you paid for this desk. I only need a desk for a year in a small apartment and this is perfect. It is enough to fit a small laptop and a notebook to write on which is exactly what I need it for.
In terms of assembly, it is almost exactly like a low end desk. The instructions are a little confusing as you need to really study it to understand it. but it is not impossible at all. It only took me about 30 min but i recommend having a friend help you as it will make it a lot easier for certain parts if you had some assistance holding the pieces.
I am super happy with my desk and I might follow up with some pictures. Overall it was a pleasant surprise.
I was very impressed with how easily I could put this together by myself. A drill would have been helpful but a screwdriver worked just as well. Its sturdier than I thought for the price. Good quality. I bought this for my 5th grade son to do his homework on and it will serve its purpose.
