While definitely a two (or three is available) person job, the assembly was not overly challenging. I highly recommend using a drill with adjustable torque as otherwise it would be VERY challenging to hand tighten all of the screws.
The bed is very sturdy and the finish was practically flawless. The desk, while small, is perfect for my daughter especially with distance learning.
We did significant searching and researching for the perfect loft bed and am very pleased with our selection. I highly recommend this!

Its not often a piece of furniture you assemble yourself is such high quality. The ladder will need some extra brackets after some usage. Otherwise a very sold bed.
This bed looks great! Make sure you have a rubber mallet, a drill to speed up the process and extra hands to hold the bed together when all pieces need to be screwed in. Buyer beware! If your kids think it would be cute to put those jelly window decal stickers on the wood it will absorb the color and NOT come off! The bed did have a few knicks from shipping but nothing damaged and in a place you can see. I would buy again!
We bought this bed for our 7 year old Granddaughter. Needless to say, she loveeeeed it! It gave her more room in her bedroom, and a place to do her homework, drawing, and a place to put all of her nick knacks. It has lots of shelf room and cubby holes. We didnt assemble it, but my son said they had no problems. Its sturdy too.
Once all was said and done, the bed and dresser/book shelves are amazing for the price. HOWEVER we were missing the MAJORITY of the bed frame pieces, literally no slates for under the mattress, the ladder and several other pieces were missing. Dresser and two book shelves all came fine but, we received each unit in separate boxes, days apart over a week and a half one would come, my husband would put it together and the actual bed frame came last so it was too late to return. sent a replacement which i indicated we ONLY needed parts for the bed frame, they sent all four boxes/units... my son loveeeees the bed and all issues were resolved BUT the actual company sent us the pieces we were missing opposed to the entire bed.

Perfect loft bed for teenage girl
This is a beautiful loft bed. Purchased for a 13 year old girl who loveeeees it! Perfect. The desk is bigger than I expected. Easy assembly too.
