My 9 and 5 year-old kids share a room. My initial set up was using the Flysta bookcases to divide the room-- that could have been great if their room has a bit more sq ft of space! So I kept looking and searching for new ideas on Pinterest and YouTube etc. I want each kid to have their own space but not to sacrifice the overall space in the room. Finally I decided to use loft beds. I myself had one when I was little. BUT I didnt like that straight ladder and small desk with built in wardrobe under the bed. I think this simple loft bed with walk-in desk area is better. Kids can put whatever they prefer behind the desk and the desk is a good size too! Its like they each have their own cubicle! I have attached 2 pictures. Yes its pretty messy but u get the idea. I also had to take a risk not knowing if I could fit 2 loft beds (~80 inches each) side by side in the room (but it was perfect fit like custom made!) Also the bed is sturdy! I am not light and I climbed on the ladder and even briefly sat on the bed without problem . Assembly took like 2 hours with 2 people. One person assembly would be hard and u need to have a platform/ cabinet/ ladder to help hold on to the loft bed pieces. But all in all, instruction is easy to follow, wood feels solid and sturdy ( our navy beds are up for a month and dont have wood cracking problem like the other reviewer... theirs may actually be paint cracking?), also great design! Oh and my 2 kids loveeeee it!
Maybe I was lucky... both of the loft beds arrived with fine packaging, wood is fine with only minor not-so-smooth area on the inside of 1 ladder and no dent/ chip/ missing parts!
We got these so our boys and they are beautiful! Only took one person to install however it did take several hours they seem really sturdy though! The boys have jumped and played on them for hours! We will see if they hold up for the years to come.
Highly recommend! We got the twin over twin in grey. It came two days earlier than expected. (Box was very tall and crazy heavy.) No missing pieces, no damaged pieces, and it was packed very well. Instructions were clear, boards were marked, and the hardware had labels in each respective pouch. It took me and a friend about two hours and it was very sturdy. Bonus that the wood smells amazing so their room smells like a cedar chest.
Note that my photo pictures the safety railing I purchased separately for the top bunk.
This was really good product especially for the price. I bought for my 2 year old and 7 year old. We decided to just leave the beds separate. It was easy to assemble but did take some time. The instructions were very clear. Its going to take two people to put it together for sure. All the needed tools were in the packaging. There were no damaged parts, everything was in good quality. Seems pretty sturdy for my kids. I would recommend this product.
Missing parts, bolts and wooden pegs. Very frustrating to have to go get the stuff. Some of the pieces are poorly stained, edges are rough. It looks sort of unfinished honestly.
Instructions were so simple. Easy to assemble by myself with a toddler pestering me the whole time. So sturdy. One thing that took extra effort was putting in the slats. I had to grab an impact gun because there were so many screws and I wasnt going to do it by hand. I lay up in it sometimes with my 35 pound child and Im a 160 pound woman. So so solid. Would recommend. I bought it in white and its adorable.
I absolutely loveeeee this bunk bed It was super simple to put together Im a 32 year old mother of 2 I put the whole thing together with no help It took me a minute to get started due to other things I had to get done but when I finally did It was a walk In the park The instructions were well written out and put together for better understanding you guys did amazing that you.

Not worth the $money$
1 year later and only one of the two beds are still standing. The one bed left is barely hanging on. Beds were unstable within 6 months.
Highly Recommend!!
