I am unhappy with this purchase. I wish I wouldve received instructions to build these chairs. Also one of the box of the chairs didnt have the holes for the screws to go in. Not sure if its underneath the fabric. I have wrote a message to the seller and Waiting for a reply. Until then I am writing this at a one star.
It looks great, and the assembly wasnt that difficult to follow. The directions provided could be a little clearer, there were some parts that were a little confusing. But simple enough to figure out with some critical thinking. Ive had it for a little over a month, so far it has held up. The actual seat part itself, does seem a little flimsy. Not as sturdy as I initially assumed it would be. But overall, seems to hold. Will update if any changes.
I bought this chair over three years ago and it's moved with me twice since then. It's sturdy, has held up exceptionally well, and gets more comfy over time. I didn't use it a lot at first because it was a little stiff, but as I've used it more it has broken in nicely; more comfy but still study. I came back to buy another and had to leave a review. You won't regret getting this chair if you're going for a midcentury vibe. For the price you cannot go wrong; so much midcentury stuff is so expensive
This chair is very comfortable and stylish! The color is exactly what I was looking for. It was very easy to assemble. The chair itself is pretty big so youre sitting comfortably.
While I do like the overall look, sturdiness and comfort, I think the manufacturer doesn't uphold strong production standards or review before they ship. First of all, the instructions came printed out of order, and I mean front and back double sided pages were not collated correctly.... for both chairs I bought. The assembly descriptions were not great either, there were some pieces not addressed or pictures that didn't mean anything to the actual product from what I can tell. Secondly, the wood only had lacquer on the sides that are visible; in which, might not be a huge deal normally but if you have your hands on the arm rest, what will naturally happen? Your fingers will curl around the armrest and touch the underside, and here it turns out to be rough and unfinished. Not a great feeling. Also, there are spots on the visible surfaces where the lacquer wasn't applied well or didn't dry quite right and it is also rough in these spots. Thirdly, the wooden pegs that are used to cover up where the screws are used either don't quite fit or fall out easily. Lastly, the wooden dowels that are used to hold the front bottom cross beam to the legs of the chair are way too small for the holes so they don't offer much security.
Overall, if I was using this for a spare room in my house I wouldn't mind, but I got these for my business and I am not sure if I will keep them at this point.
The price was great as an return for $129.00 and we could nothing wrong with this product when it arrived. Very sturdy construction and comfortable seat. At bit long in depth from the front to backrest, so consider this if you are shorter than 6'2 and need the backrest closer to you. Most of my family are good with this chair for occasional use. It is not that comfortable for long term sitting and ready, but looks good in our greatroom and we have noticed the fabric cleans very easily. Certainly worth considering and it assembled very easily; I doubt instructions are even necessary for most buyers. Hope this helps.
The chair looks very nice, but there are appearance and quality disparities. I ordered one chair and it was easy to assemble, looked good, but had some cosmetic damage on the arm of the chair. I overlooked it and kept it, opting to fill in the chip with a wood pen. We ordered a second chair to go with the first one, and the two chairs look very different. They are not the same height, the fabric look and feels different, the wood color is different, and they do not have the same padding. Some of the pieces did not fit properly, so the second chair was not nearly as sturdy as the first one. They come across as the same style of chair but look like they are from two different stores and one is a knock off.
We ordered a return and it has been over two months without response from the seller. We decided to just use the chair in a different room, and the stitching actually came apart after a week of use. We ended up throwing it out as it can no longer be returned. Waste of money. Don't bother buying these chairs-- they are cheap in quality and the seller will not help you out.

No instructions included! Missing screw holes on one side of cushion

Good but not that great.

Very nice for the money
Very nice for the money. Seems pretty sturdy. Clean and straight lines go great with my mid century modern theme.
