I wanted a basket for months, but didnt want to spend 140 dollars for the name brand baskets. My friends love those baskets but i just didnt want to pay that price. When i saw past reviews for this basket being just as good (with some issues), i took a leap and went for it. Some reviewers were missing items or items were bent. I had no issues whatsoever. Absolutely just as good as the name brand baskets. The chains are heavy and durable. The basket itself is very stable but does come with ground anchors just in case.
So look at the manufacturer information on this basket. It says that it is manufactured by MVP. Long story short, this is a navy blue, MVP Black Hole Pro. Only 40 cheaper. Just like the MVP stamped basket, the inner chains are on eyelets which keep them from moving. All in all, its fantastic basket for the price.
I needed a basket that I could easily throw in my van and take to the park and practice and this basket works. Its not heavy, and if u have the space in your car or truck you dont need to take it apart to move it either. Taking it apart is really easy tho and can be done regularly if thats what u need. The chains arent that strong, dont stick to the chains like a real basket of u hit the left or right side of the chains but it putts fine. I added some chains to one sided to help it a little bit more chains definitely add weight fast, and the basket isnt very stable so adding larger chains will make it top heavy. Its stable enough, like its not gonna fall over but Im not sure its stable enough to handle the same chains a pdga basket has
I purchased 9 of these for our school to make a golf course, they are perfect in every way except that they are not galvanized metal. So they will require a bit of maintenance. I consider this one of the best purchase decisions I made. Everyone really loved this. We had a camp here and will be having future camps, even our teachers were out early in he morning playing frisbee golf. I have one donated basket that is galvanized and these are just as good, except for that one point. Obviously, that is a big point as rust can be a major issue, but with maintenance these should last for many years and I was able to purchase 2 of these for the price of 1 of those.
For the price to quality this is excellent! I did add extra heavier duty chains so that it stops the better otherwise it just flies through them. I wish the surrounding basket itself was a bit shorter as the ones at discing courses are but in a way it should help your game by being more precise.
relatively well built. Lighter duty than ones at public courses, but plenty sturdy for home practice. Size and height seem correct. Not sure how long the spring clips in the posts will last when exposed to the elements but you can easily use a bolt or pin to replace the clips once they fail. The flags are on a plastic stick, and may not take too may blows from a stray shot. For the price there is nothing else close to these that I have seen.
