I loved it, it can also be used without a mattress box, the storage capacity is amazing, and very good and heavy material, for me it was difficult to move the box it was very heavy we moved it with my husband's help!
Really easy to put together. Ive seen several reviews that said they had trouble getting the rails and everything assembled but literally every page in the instruction booklet says in all caps “NOTE:PLEASE DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS UNTIL ALL FIXED.” I finger tightened all the bolts as I went and once it was all put together I went back from start to finish and tightened them all up with a screwdriver (fixed with an Allen wrench head).
There are several scratches and imperfections in the paint and a few small spots of rust so Im assuming thatll just get worse over time. The bed slides all over hardwood so Ill have to get grips of some sort to keep it from moving but it doesnt seem to scratch the floor at all.
Also, the part thats supposed to hold the mattress is way too small. I could push the mattress right off, no problem.
Its a major improvement from the hand-me-down bed we had but you get what you pay for. Well see how long it lasts us.
Oh, and I saw several comments about the black actually being gray. Its a matte black, does not look gray at all. Its actually a nice color and wont leave fingerprints all over it

I was intimidated by the number of parts but it turned out to be easy to assemble. Took about an hour by myself. Pleased with the quality for the price.

Check the welded spots
I like my new bed frame, was easy to assemble. I caution others to check all areas its been welded, I got a serious poke from a welded spot.
