    Perfect for toddler

This bed is great! My boyfriend was able to assemble it himself even with a 2.5 year old trying to help. All 3 of us have laid in it / its very sturdy. I do agree that a twin size comforter is best as the sides have 0 room to tuck the blanket in. Pictured on the bed is a full sized one. My daughter loves it! It took her a little practice to get the hang of getting up and down, but she figured out if she puts her folding stool at the bottom it makes the last step easier, haha. This was a great purchase at a fair price.

No defective wood or parts. Its absolutely perfect

Better thank I expected. My daughter is in love of her new bed! Assembly wasnt as easy but my husband used a power tool. No defective wood or parts. Its absolutely perfect.

    Not bad, but needs reinforcement

Just finished building this (full size).pro tip: one of the lower sideboards is special and has holes for the ladder in it. Put that on the ladder side or youll be drilling new holes. I also almost ran in to the problem with the first slat splitting the board that the slats rest on.I didnt have a drill extension to do a pilot hole, but I used a C/clamp to hold it while I screwed it in (by hand) and while I saw minor splitting on one, the other 3 were successful. In mine, the bed supports that people have complained about were not laminated pieces but are single long pieces of wood. They were a bit warped and dont feel substantial enough for the long run, so I will be replacing them with either a more solid type of wood or possibly something metal. The ladder entry is also a bit tight for anyone except for really little kids. Ill probably have to expand it in the future. My son loves it, though, and when you cant do a higher loft bed this isnt a bad choice. The space underneath is indeed pretty tight, but were putting cubbies underneath it with a twin for guests and a reading area. It would also be great for increasing storage space in a room.

Price for the quality is excellent!

I purchased this bed for my granddaughter when she comes over and I need the the underside for storage space! It was easy to assemble and I only needed an extra set of hands for about five minutes other than that its a one person job. I would recommend a power screwdriver or drill to make the job faster. The elapsed time from when I opened the box until I put the on top was about an 1hr and a half or so. Its sturdy and attractive. The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is because of the smell of the stain/finish on the wood. Its not pleasant but has seemed to air out over the last few weeks. Price vs quality if excellent!

for my 17yr old daughter, perfect!

SHE LOVES THIS LOFT BED! Shes 17 and 55 and she has plenty of room on top and under the bed to study and be on her laptop. This made more space in her room. It wasnt too high up neither, no worries of her touching the ceiling.

    Awesome!

We love this bed for our daughter! It took about 2 hours for my husband and I to put it together. It is very sturdy and feel comfortable laying in bed for stories at bedtime!

    Very happy 9 yr old!

Our 9 yr old is thrilled with this full size low loft bed! Its sturdy gives her so much extra space in there bedroom! Only complaint is that it didnt come with instructions in the box. Were pretty mechanically inclined so it was easy, but if we werent experienced/ I think it would have been difficult. So far it seems sturdy well made

    Bunkbed for Grandsons.

I liked that it is not too high off of the ground.

    Im very happy with mine.

I have a smallish room which makes storage a bit of an issue. I also have a low ceiling, which ruled out a loft/style bed, though that would otherwise have been the ideal solution. This bed was the perfect compromise, being tall enough for real storage underneath yet not so tall that I cant sit up in the bed above. My only issue was that the rails are meant to completely surround the bed, making it safe for children, obviously. Not being a child that sort of security wasnt high on my list of requirements, but I DID need a bed that was easy to get out of in the morning. As it happened, the railing doesnt have to be installed in the front/ the frame is well/enough constructed that the railing isnt integral to the structure. As such, I left off the front pieces of the railing, giving me an open side that I can swing my legs over to drop out of bed in the morning. The only problem with that solution was the ladder/ one side of the ladder mounted to the corner post, great so far, but the other side mounted to the side of the bed and was as tall as the height of the now non/existent railing, making it a serious threat to my well/being as I climbed out of bed; I now had a single piece of wood sticking up alongside my bed for my legs to catch on as I swung them over the side. Not good. Fortunately, some quick work with a hacksaw (not nearly as scary or ugly as it may sound) and I had cut that side of the ladder down to the level of the frame, not interfering with its stability in the least. If I want to finish the job right Ill go find myself some coffee/colored wood stain to put on the part I cut away so it matches the rest of the bed, but otherwise I am very happy with both the bed and the solution I found for my particular issue. I mention this in particular because I wasnt completely certain when I ordered the bed that I could leave off the railings if necessary, but it turns out you can, indeed.
