Purchased this as a Mothers Day gift. Packaging was adequate and it arrived undamaged. Assembly was straight forward only having to attach the base and the rear shelves. The problems that I encountered was that the shelves are a bit difficult to attach alone having to reach inside and hold the piece that the screw goes into while trying to reach around the back to screw it in. This being a difficult enough task, I also had one misaligned screw hole and had to drill a hole for the last screw. Not a deal breaker, but Im not sure that I would purchase again.
I LOVE this jewelry cabinet! It is beautiful, well made, shipped fast, and has a ton of storage. 10/10 Would make a great gift. The nice packaging and letter with assembly instructions are a nice added touch of fancy. Im always a little hesitant making big purchases like this on but I am extremely happy with this purchase!
It was slightly uncomfortable to put together, not difficult but some weird fastener choices. You have to be careful not to tighten too much or it will start to fracture the wood. The overall materials seem very solid, but I found the connection between the base and storage part a little wobbly, the base just isnt heavy enough to provide a solid base, but it may also be that I have it setup on carpet. I definitely wont put it somewhere where it might get bumped into too hard because I am afraid it would get knocked over, but I planned on putting it in a corner anyways so no issues there. The swivel on it works great thoughIts also a little awkward to open since the door is held closed with magnets, trying to open the door makes it spin a little. Its ultimately a minor inconvenience. The inside bracelet holder is plastic not wood, but you cant really notice and is still sturdy. The lock mechanism is good enough to keep kids and siblings out, but not much else, which is expected. Also Im fairly tall, 58 the outside works great, but the inside is low. Its not awkward though to bend over a little to use so not a deal breaker. Also the wood grain on it is a little more prominent than in the photos in my opinion. Almost seems like the wood grain part was painted some to give it more of a white wash look, while the bottom most base part seems to be a solid white color which is slightly odd. Overall it meets all of my expectations and does exactly what I needed. Plus the little shelves in the back are super cute, which was the whole reason I got this one instead of a wall mounted version.
I bought this for my wife for Mothers Day. She absolutely loves it! However, the back shelfs screw holes do not line up. I would appreciate it if someone could send me the shelf with the right measurements.
This is a beautiful case. The only thing I would ask to improve is to provide more depth to the case for bigger/chunkier jewelry. When I put my larger necklaces in the case, I could not close it completely. This is great for regular/sized jewelry and would be a wonderful gift.
Poorly drilled holes that do not align so that the pieces cannot be y attached. Why does this keep happening? Quality control is severely lacking in China. I e shelf in the back of the can only be attached in three areas so thats fun. Otherwise its a functional piece and it looks nice other than where I struggled with the drill bit reaching and nicked the wood
