The instructions were not clear. It has too many pieces to put together with an Alan Rench. Once put together it is not the sturdiest bed and I do not believe it will stand the test of time as well as wear and tear. I do not recommend purchasing this item. Not if you want something easy to assemble and to last.
Giving this 3 stars. My twin 4 year olds love the bed and I would say overall were fairly happy with it. I wish they would make it a bit more sturdy and able to hold a bit more weight. The weight limit is 160. My kids like to be cuddled before bed and we cant get on the top bunk with the one sleeping on top because theyre 40lbs themselves. My kids like it and for the most part were happy I just wish they would consider trying to make it a bit more study so the the weight limit could be higher.
So like most people I read a lot of reviews before buying. The frame is NOT secured, I added 4 long screws drilling it from the outside of frame. Also I went to Lowes and bought a thick wood to go under the mattress on top of the slacks. I drilled it to the side. The entire bed shacks, however I made a 230lbs male get in the bed and lay down before I but the kids in it.
So I love love love this bed and so do my kids very well made I recommend using a power drill to put it together it says to use a Allen key but you would be there forever doing it the product was shipped and not damaged only thing ai would have to say for the company is please do better at marking the letters on the wood so it would be faster to put together . Some Pieces and not have any letter or number on them so we had to play the guessing game but other than that great bed for the price !
This bed is exactly what I wanted. Its low to the ground so I dont have to worry about my young kids falling. Its incredibly sturdy! Not for nothing, but it was pretty easy to assemble. It took me and my 72 year old mother in law just over an hour to put the whole thing together. Definitely a two person job, especially when attaching the top bunk. The only issue I ran into is that 2 pieces were mislabeled but I noticed pretty quickly and was able to switch them. Overall, it was a great buy!
I found the instructions to be pretty easy to follow. Putting this bed together was fun. It took about 4 hrs. The top bunk is very sturdy and when my 7 yr old sleeps up there I am confident I do not have to worry about him falling off. The bottom bunk however has no railings and while it is literally on the floor, my 3 yr old rolls off the bed and into the floor at times. He is a wild sleeper. While Im not worried about him getting hurt, it is really annoying.
Both the kids love playing in their fort. They like the curtains because it turns their bed into a where they can hide and play make believe. They do wish there were two more curtains to put on the exposed end. Honestly it really doesnt make sense to just cover the front and one side unless u position the bed in a corner and thats not practical for their room.

Bottom rails would be big improvement
