The assembly took about two hours. Had a few extra screws had all the correct parts. It is pretty high, so plenty of storage underneath the bed. So far, after two days it is able to hold two people on the bed animals. So, it is sturdy enough to hold us up. Also, this is a size full bed.
Lots of parts but the instructions were clear. They sent extra of every piece of hardware which was nice planning. Looks good and is sturdy to sleep on for two large people. Great value.
I am SO in love with this bed. It is exactly what I hoped it would be. Took me about an hour by myself to put it together, and was actually easy to follow. And I am not super savvy when it comes to putting furniture together. They send an entire second set of hardware as a spare, which I thought was a great bonus for any future needs. This frame is not only Farmhouse/Victorian pretty, it is SUPER sturdy! Absolutely no worries about slats breaking because they are all metal and connected. I get so excited to get in bed every night bc it is such a beautiful frame for the $. You will not be disappointed on this one!
Beautiful and Im in love! Low stars because when it arrived it was scratched all over!! Very deeply!! As if a knife had been used to scrape off large pieces :( but you can spray paint it your self later

Love the bed, hate the assembly.
The bed has been great. I must say something in regards to the assembly. There are way too many parts and it makes it cumbersome to put together.
