This bed frame surprised me. If you are shopping for a bed in this class / this is the one. 1) It came with the best assembly instructions I have ever seen / simple, numbered, and clear. 2) The pieces fit together very tight (no flimsy connections). 3) And finally it was all solid wood. Works well.
Really nice quality wood and design. The frame is so simple to put together, we had no issues with hardware fitting, and they even provided spare hardware, which is ingenious. We didnt need it though. The slats go on with velcro!!! Its brilliant. It saves probably 30 minutes of screwing in the slats on a normal platform bed like this. And theyve thought of everything, they even have these sticky things on the platform that you peel off and then place the mattress on top of. So it doesnt slide. We bought a king bed, Ive wanted a king for years. 11 to be exact. And this one is so low profile, we actually have almost 2 feet more of floor space in our room since we got rid of our that was on a big padded sleigh bed. The giant padded sleigh bed thing took up tons of space. We actually bought this as a temporary bed frame until we found something permanent that we liked, but we have decided to not look any further! My husband and I love it. AND its plenty tall that our robot vacuum can get under there. Our old bed had a whole dogs worth of hair and dust underneath it that took a shop vac to clean up. And Ive got bad asthma, so I need clean in my room. BUY THIS. No regrets. One of my best buys.
Very pretty and sturdy. Happy with the price. Satisfied with the quality. Ive had to tighten it every now and then but it came with the wrench to put it together with so not a problem. I purchased this for my teenage son and its holding up well. We use it with a memory foam mattress. The instructions were fairly easy and it didnt take long to put together. All parts were there. Quick ship.
This is a nice solid bed that looks good when fully assembled. I was frankly surprised at the quality, as well as the clarity of the assembly instructions and the thoughtfully designed blister pack that labels all the different bolts and other parts needed for assembly. Something usually lacking in some Chinese made goods . Another surprise was the way it was packed to protect it from damage during shipping. A very heavy and large box that is subject to abuse My box arrived a bit beat up but the bed parts inside were all fine.
I was not cry about the wrench bolts, which take a bit longer to deal with than something with a hex head. But it comes with an wrench and no other tools are required so anyone can do it. And its much solid than the the bolt and cam system used in a lot of build it yourself furniture. Everything fit together quite well. Just make sure to closely follow the instructions. All attachment points are numbered to correspond with picture instructions. But study each picture closely before moving forward. All in all a good deal for the money. This is really easy to assemble and pretty sturdy.
Assembling this is fool proof. Everything is labeled exactly where it goes. It was like they pre/assembled it before shipping it. There is only a minor issue with the fitment. A few pieces dont line up exactly right. They are off by almost a mm. Still very good and only an issue if you are a stickler for details.
I do wish I got one with legs inset from the base of the bed. I keep running my foot into the legs. Sturdy.
This was such a great buy for our new mattress. The color/wood is beautiful. Easy to put together. Good direction. Love the security strips that are on the frame too. I would expect this frame to last for years. Worth it!!!
After 7 months of use, I noticed the bed was getting a bit wobbly. The bolts that hold the frame needed to be retightened. This is not a high/end frame but it looks nice and has performed well for the price. I would recommend. Simple and easy to put together.
