Worst bed to buy and Service for issuing refund is not satisfactory.

It took almost 4hrs for me to assemble entire bed and one of the cabin doesnt fit and it looks like something wrong with the design, tried to reach out to for refund and they are not helpful at all. I strongly recommend to stay away from this product and dont fall for the pictures.

    Perfect addition to office/spare room

Assembling the bed did take a little longer than the estimated 2 hours. Definitely try to have 2 people work on the assembly. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. I decided to convert my spare bedroom into my office and didnt want to be crammed or feel like I was working in a bedroom. Setting the day bed up as a sofa is perfect for the day and its aming that it easily converts to a king bed for when I have guests over! I opted For 6 inch memory foam mattresses which will provide comfort as well!

    80 happy

I did not like that the drawers where not as sturdy as the rest of the bed. I had to reinforce them. Because they simply did not stay ensamble. I am very handy thats why I was able to reinforce them. But If you are not it will feel like it was not worth to buy it! But it is a quality product. Is hard to give a bad review based on just like 30 on the product.

A good bed for the price

With this bed, you get a lot for the money! A daybed with trundle, 2 large drawers, and the ability to use a fold/in/half king/size mattress (8 thick when single twin, 4 thick when expanded out as a king size). We saw a bed like this on website when we were researching daybeds, but the shipping on that bed was literally more than the bed (400 or something). Then we found this bed, which is nearly the same design. Construction wasnt too hard. If you have a little experience and proper power tools, its easy. If you have no experience, you can still do it. I think I saw only a 2.7 star review for ease of assembly, which seems unfairly low. The instructions are clear and they have indicators to help you orient the pieces correctly as long as youre careful. The only knocks against the bed I have are: 1) The rails are a little low. Using an 8 mattress, normal sized pillows almost spill over the rail. My daughter mostly sits on it like a couch and the back is against a wall, so its not a problem for her. But realize that thicker mattresses and more layers of bedding with larger pillows would likely spill over the rails pretty easily if there isnt a wall to stop it. 2) Drawers have no sliding surface help them slide easier / its just wood on wood. Eventually, this wood on wood will probably become slicker and slide more easily, but initially there is a decent amount of friction. I believe I could add a cheap solution, but it seems like the bed should have came with something to aid in this area. 3) Wood from Bril. This might weigh on your conscience if you pay attention to the massive deforestation happening at the hands of both man and nature, or if you just care for the well being and long/term survival of humans in general. If Id have known this before purchasing, I might not have. Logging can be done responsibly, but Bril is not even close to doing it and are very likely accelerating the extinction of life on Earth. Whoathat got dark. Sorry! Other than those small issues, Im happy with the bed.

    Assembly is torture

Its like an product: youre going to love and hate it at the same time. Assembly was not fun. Five hours later, the frame is pretty much put together with the exception of the drawers. We left the drawers alone for a couple weeks because wed had our fill of assembling a huge piece of furniture to last the rest of our lives. All through the process we wondered why we needed a bed that could magically turn from a king to a twin. At least my mom was impressed when she saw it. It creaks and the paint is not thick; you can see the knots in the wood. The outer pieces look flimsy but the whole thing stays together somehow. I wondered again why wed gotten rid of the bed frame we built using 2x6s and a Kreg jig. The drawers were finally put together but they dont stay together. The front pieces want to come off so well have to gorilla glue or wood glue them and hope they dont fall apart. All this for 400? Please dont purchase this new. Look for a used one (buy mine, please!) so you get all the benefits of this frame without losing your mind first.
