This is a great drafting chair. Well made and easy to assemble. Only problem is that it was too tall for my desk and I have thrown away the boxes to return it. Does anyone know how to remove the round foot rest to lower it a couple of inches? I removed the casters and the chair still needs to be a bit lower. Has anyone removed the foot rest? Is it even possible?
The chair is exactly what i was expecting. It is a standard office chair with an extra attachment at the base, that adds the foot ring and some height to the chair. Its comfortable for about 2 hours and then some readjusting is needed, which is expected with a cheap chair.
Perfect for my kitchen island (makeshift work desk). Doesnt roll too much even on hardwood floors, which I like. I got the one with no arms, its comfortable to sit work in all day.
Since Im working from home due to the pandemic, I needed a comfortable chair at an affordable price. That is exactly what I got!
Some people mention that the footstool is too high and pushes your knees up but not when the chair is raised up higher. I think those people added the extender with the footstool and expecting to use the chair in a low setting. The footstool works well when using at a counter height or higher. If using the chair for a lower desk, or table, just leave off the extender and footstool.
Overall, Im very happy with this chair !
My husband put the chair together in about 15 minutes. It is very comfortable! We dont have much space in our apartment and we are both working from home now so I needed a tall enough chair to sit comfortably at our island. It was a great purchase! Easily adjustable!
Im impressed with this purchase of mine. Priced okay and is serving its purpose. I surprised myself that I installed this chair all by myself. Comfy seat while WFH. Perfect fit for my high desk.
I bought five of these chairs to use in the sound booth at our church which has a counter height of 36inches.
They were so easy to assemble. Everything basically just fits together, except for a few screws. The only tool youll need is a phillips head screwdriver. (We didnt install the armrests, but it would have only added one extra step.)
They are comfortable and so far we have not had any of the issues that I saw in some of the lower ratings on this product. Our guitarist used one on stage as well.
The only downside is that the casters do not lock at all. We were not able to use this chair for our cameraperson who likes to sit on the back of the stool with her feet on the seat. The chair is not designed for this purpose, so this is not a criticism. But if you are looking for a stool that stays put while you squat on it like a monkey, keep looking.
