My 3 year was ready for a big boy bed and this one was perfect! The navy color even matches a dresser that I painted when he was a baby! Very easy to assemble and great quality for the price! Took me by myself about 1.5 hours to assemble.
Assembly took quite a bit of time but fortunately I am handy so it was not too bad. You do have to pay very close attention to a couple of the steps otherwise you will end up on final steps and will have to reverse everything to make sure the ladder is lined up with the holes on the right rails.
I read a lot of the reviews before I purchased this and saw where many people advise that having extra slats under the mattress was better. I definitely agree with this and actually added two extra slats per bed giving each bed nine slats. Using just the seven slats that it comes with would be problematic and will not hold enough weight or your child may end up falling between them.
Once the bed is built it is extremely sturdy and looks really nice. I have them stacked and the bottom bunk is high enough that I have more than sufficient amount of room for storage underneath. I would definitely purchase this again.
The biggest pain to build, and I did it with one extra person. The smallest brackets could have come screwed in already but I guess for the price, the company makes you have to use tiny screws to put them on yourself (Something they could have done to cut time in half). Then they expect you to do it all by hand without any power tools. Should have just gone ahead and used a power drill instead. I wouldnt purchase this bed again even if it was offered to me for half the price.
This is a very good solid product and looks good. All the hardware included was also good quality. It takes a while to assemble though. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because there was a chemical smell that lasted for 3 daysso if you receive the product open it up and let it air.

Honestly. wow. This is sturdier than Ikea and somehow all the wood used is real wood, not composite. Which means, it feels better on your hand and is lighter than the massmarket counterpart. One piece of info I was looking for is, from the FLOOR to the underside of the bed is 28, in case you were interested in putting a dresser underneath it. If that doesnt work for you, there are very cheap risers on that can help boost it up those last 1/4 inches needed to clear for underbed storage.
Also, Not installing the staircase does not seem to affect the sturdiness of the structure. Once install it is solid and does not creak or waver. Pleasantly surprised and delighted by this.
This bed is very nice, super sturdy. My grandsons favorite color is blue / and its a very nice dark blue color. Plenty of room to store things underneath which is nice since my daughters home is on the small side. Totally worth the price.

Solid Bunk beds!

Sturdy and trustworthy
Easy to assemble. Had a minor inaccuracy in the ladder fixing holes, I solved it with a drill.

This bed is very nice, super sturdy. My grandsons favorite color is blue / and its a very nice dark blue color. Plenty of room to store things underneath which is nice since my daughters home is on the small side. Totally worth the price.
