I was hoping this would be better than Ikea furniture and I am happy to report that it is. If youre looking for something slightly above the quality of Ikea, this is the perfect piece. Really sturdy. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Not too tall . Great space on the bottom for the little ones . I bought a 10 inch mattress here on and its perfect for the rail to keep our 3 y old safe . We purchased the grey one

The bed looks beautiful and once built is a fine twin bed for my toddler. Building it was super difficult since the pieces werent cut right and they didnt fit together. My husband had to fix some of it so we could assemble the pieces.
I dont normally write reviews, but thought this might be beneficial to someone who has OCD like me about decor. I purchased this bed for my 4 year old son(.who absolutely loves the bedits a space saver and very study). BUUUUT, I purchased it because it was suppose to be WHITE to go along with everything else white in the room. i dont know whooooo is looking at the color swatch but this bed is NOT white Its so cream almost yellow. It matched the banana pudding in the fridge. So if you are looking for a bright white piece of furniture THIS is not IT Its not even OFF WHITE. Lovely bed though.
This bunkbed is awesome. Super sturdy and great for the kids room to save space. Only thing I would say is some of the bolts were immediately stripped when the drill started moving but others were great. And some of the parts were labeled incorrect but its figure out able. Lol
Assembly was fairly easy with the provided tools. The instructions are pretty good and assembly didnt take long at all. There are a few parts of the process where its easy to get a part backwards, so look at the instructions carefully.
The hardware provided seems solid and all the parts needed were present. All of the parts were in good condition and everything fit together great. The hardware is color matched to the frame, and its hidden when possible. The finished product looks really nice.
Once its assembled it seems fairly solid.
The only down side I see is that the frame is a few inches longer than the twin mattress we ordered. So when the mattress is pushed all the way up against the head board, there are a few inches of empty space at the end near the foot board. But once you have sheets and a blanket on it its not bad.
Its a great choice for a big kid bed!
I put this together on my own with 3 little kids and a black lab running around me while my husband was at work. It took me about 5 hours to assemble. Pay very close attention to which side bar goes into what part of the headboard. I messed one up accidentally put the one for the ladder on the top bunk on the back side. I had to drill holes in the other board, or else I would have had to take almost the entire bed apart. It was 8:00 pm by this point and there was zero chance of me doing that.
Some of the screws just do not want to go in. The top would strip out and I had to use my own wrench to twist them instead of the one that came with it. Some slid like in butter. It was all just chance. Very frustrating. Thats the only reason Im knocking off a star. The hardware could have been better quality.
The bed is very sturdy compared to the bunk my kids had in the past. It doesnt rock. The beds are the same height when used as 2 twins which was important to me. They also smell OF WOOD. Which was also important to me. The last ones we had smelled like chemicals and we had to air the room for several days. So gross. It isnt soft wood that is easily dented. Very solid. It also is not untreated wood. It does have a clear coating over it so dont expect to paint them without sanding.
Overall, we are very happy with it and plan to get the trundle because pulling my kids mattress out on carpet is actually kind of a pain because it is heavy and there isnt really a place to grip it. Im sure the trundle would look more attractive as well.
