So I like the look and the quality but i have one major problem. The amount of room between the twin bed and the edge of the frame is several inches. If i push the bed all the way to the wall then several inches of slats are exposed and it looks bad and if it push the bed to the middle of the slats my daughter falls into the crack between the bed and the wall. When i measured the inside of the frame, the part where you would put the bed i got width 38 3/4 and length 75. Its just not fitting my bed and for my toddlers i need it to fit right so they dont get hurt.
This bed took 2 adults 4 1/2hrs to put together! So many pieces and screws. The assemble directions were helpful yet NOT. Anyone buying this bed PUT the ladder on BEFORE YOU SCREW the mattress boards on. The directions make you put together BOTH beds them lifting the top on over the bottom one, problem was once this was all put together the ladder was the last step. It was NOT easy screwing the ladder on because the directions made you put the mattress boards on first and screw then down. The screws are all Allen wrench type which sucked! Took forever to screw this together. BUT once it was all said and done it is a very nice sturdy bed!
I purchased this bed for my 2.5 year old son. We got the bed put together and a mattress on the bed today. Its been a few hours and the piece that hold the metal beam on the foot end of the end came off. There is no way to screw it back in. Not nearly as good of quality as it seemed initially.
Excellent fit and finish to the wood,. All assembly parts were there and all were high quality. Very sturdy once it was all put together. For the money Im not sure you could get a better bunk bed. Very happy with this purchase!
Love it very study I bought it for my teenager boys. You might want to make sure you have a drill bit with a Allen wrench to make it easier to assemble.
Love this bed !!! I put it together myself in two hours. Very easy instructions all the pieces were clearly labeled and it is very sturdy my kids love it !!
Being a widow I hired a guy to put this together for me. Its exactly what I was wanting for when my adult kids visit my small guest room. Very well made, very sturdy. I got it for adults, not children. Very happy with it.
Overall, Im happy with the bunk bed. It seems sturdy and looks good. My kids are 5 and 6 and are loving it so far. Please be warned, the screw heads strip easily if you put any force on them. It was painful putting this together because of that. One tip in case you run into this, put the hex key into the screw (wood join connector) and hit the hex key with a hammer a few times to jam the hex key into the screw head. Then, carefully screw the bolt in. This was critical to use parts B and C.
Im also probably going to secure the top bunk to the bottom bunk. With the current design, it just sits on top of 4 large wood dowels. Even though it is very unlikely this will become a problem, it is just those dowels that are preventing any horizontal movement.

Seems sturdy, CHEAP screw heads that strip easily
