We bought this bed for our 6 year old daughter.
It looks great, was easy to put together, overall we love the bed. Unfortunately, one of the wooden slats broke when an adult sat on it. We only had the bed for a month when it happened. This bed claims to have a 400lb weight limit. It couldnt handle 170lbs.
very disappointing
Easily the worst instructions for an item of furniture I have ever worked with. Im 53. Yeah good luck parents. Missing entire parts. Theres a metal bar that supposed to run down the middle. Where does it attach to on the footer? Youll find out hopefully after youve put the bed together. Also you need a drill. Zero chance you you can screw everything in by hand. Half the spots have zero holes to start. Grabs drink. Settle in and make sure the kids are clear for the ensuing F bombs.
The product itself seemed pretty good quality for the price. My disappointment comes with the finish and wrong parts. The finish states White some reviews said it was more of an off white which would have been fine but it is definitely an Ivory finish. I work with materials like this and put my white sample next to it to show. The company should change the name of the color or invest in an actual white. Secondly I made sure I had all the pieces and when putting together I was almost done and when 2 of the rails were way to short. Instead of just replacing the parts said they would have to send a whole new one and Id have to re/package the current one. Very inconvenient. End result I was going to deal with the finish even though it looked terrible with the rest of the bedroom but after the ordeal with the short rails I decided to just return and purchase from a different company.
I do love the bunk bed. I ordered it for my 4 and 7 year olds. Seems sturdy enough for them and for me ! They love the bunk bed too and it definitly saves alot of room in their bedroom. 1 star off because 2 screws came out of dimension. They were too thick for the pre drilled holes. Issue was with screws because we tried others and they fit. I did contact customer service and they responded quickly. I am now waiting for my 2 new screws.
The bed is very nice and seem easy to accomplished. After we set it up and have our kids to sleep for couple nights and found some issue with the bed. Its not as steady as it mentioned. Easy to crack on the the frame. The Slats length is too far. It doesnt seem to hold the weight it mentioned. I think this bed is only for kids thats under age of 12. The kids still like the design and the stair.
My daughter loves her new bed frame. Its almost as sturdy as her last one but doesnt weigh as much as an elephant and it only takes up a reasonable amount of space in her room. I was really surprised when it arrived because in came in a box that was about 6 foot long and about 8 X 12 inches. The last one came as 5/6 large boxes standing on their ends and filled a wooden pallet. Im not sure how that shipment was delivered but it probably either took some heavy equipment to get it to our door or a football team. After having that bed for around 2 years its so nice that my teenage daughter can change her sheets by herself again and has a bed that she can have in her room and still have room to have other furniture. Its nice looking, sturdy and should last long enough to hand down to her children. Were very happy and for a price that didnt break the bank.
First the Pros bc there are many : I really like this bed. Its perfect for my twin 4 yr olds. I have the beds separated until theyre older and can have bunk beds without giving me a heart attack. The grey color is beautiful and the bed itself is very sturdy and was not too hard to put together. HOWEVER, the bed and box was damaged when it I got it. I uploaded a few of the pictures and most of the places I was able to hide by flipping the board to the inside or the foot of the bed. As you can see from the pictures some of the damage is from the manufacturer. The bad places (dents and scrapes) are painted over. The rest of the damage is on the seller and shipping. I reached out to customer support and was really disheartened that they would not offer any kid of credit for the damage. They would only provide a full refund if I boxed it back up and returned it. To give you an idea of how large this box is it weighs 128lbs and is almost 7ft long. Being a 5ft, 95lb woman I was unable to move the box inside the house without arranged help and for sure could not box it up in a new box (the shipping box was heavily damaged) and take it to be returned. Also, I did not want to spend money on returning the item when I could make it work and, honestly, knowing that 4 year old boys would prob put tons of wear/and/tear on the bed in no/time. I am very frustrated and saddened in s customer service and their assistance in trying to provide any options or help so that, as a customer, I would be willing to order more high/end furniture pieces from their website. My advice would be to purchase this bed if you dont mind having 20 pieces or so that are damaged.

After reaching out again to customer service a different representative offered me a partial credit.

Maybe a long piece of metal to support the wood pieces which hold the mattresses
The item is very good, but in less then one month, one of the wood pieces holding the mattress got broken
