53 and the front of the chair does hit my legs and is slightly uncomfortable, not terrible though. Its. Ice and roomy and is definitely buy it again, good for the price
It is a comfortable chair , needs padding so it wont slide up and down the hall , you can start rocking in the living room and end up 30 ft from where you started ..
This chair is so comfortable. My wife and I have used it at least twice a day to rock our lil dude to sleep for 6 months. Very well built, quiet, and looks great.
Fortunately we did not have the issues many have described with this chair arriving damaged. This is a great budget rocking chair for our nursery, with the retro style we were looking for. Assembly was easy but a little time consuming. Its definitely not as cushy as other chairs out there, but thats fine for us and its still very comfortable. For reference, I am 59 and I can still lean back comfortably in it.
One thing I will say is that the light beige looks a little more like a light grey. Could be the lighting in the room we have it in? Not a problem for us, but something to be aware of that its at least not quite as bright as the photo makes it appear.
