    Perfect

It took forever to find a queen size platform bed that was high enough for a trundle and didnt have an extra middle support leg.I was very satisfied and pleased with the price

    awsome beds

we actually have owned 3 of the beds from this company and for the price they are super awesome. Simple and sturdy. if you want fancy this isnt it, but just as a bed frame its great. I have one for a toddler, one for a teen and one as a guest bed, all three went together great and seem the same, even though I picked them up a year apart.

    Works great

Ive had this for a month and it works great. The only flaw is my puppy likes to chew it. I will update as time goes on.

    SQUEAKY bad

The only reason Im giving this a 3 star rating is because I value silence this bed is not that. Its VERY squeaky. no, I dont do anything but sleep on this bed. In fact me just moving around to get comfortable sounds like a ménage à trois. Which is an issue. Other than that I LOVE the look and design of the bed, its just too damn loud

Very sturdy and easy to assemble.

The wood is Poplar, 1 or 1 1/8 thick and very pretty. Unfinished wood so you can paint or lacquer it if you choose. Easy to assemble with a screwgun, would be a little more difficult with just a phillips screwdriver. I recommend watching the instructional video on rather than depend on the instruction sheet. Very nice bedstead, highly recommend.

You will get your moneys worth!

Extremely easy to put together, excellent workmanship!! I actually could not have picked anything better. AND its with USA grown wood. You cant go wrong with this purchase. I got the queen size, its lovely. Im in my 60s and put it together myself. The UPS driver did offer to put the box inside the house for me which I happily accepted.

Sturdy, but needs to be stained

This was affordable and sturdy, but it is essentially a bunch of lumber. We stained and sanded it because the poplar wood was a little rough (i.e. there were a few splinters here and there), but nothing a little 10mins of sandpaper didnt fix rt up. We also stained it with water based, eco-friendly stain and added a top coat. Because as another reviewer rightly warned, the wood has different colorations. If youre ok with that, then you just have to assemble. Assembly was pretty easy for two able bodied ppl in their 30s. Def doable for one person, but the wood might be heavy for some. Overall, its a good price and one of the sturdier beds you can buy. Were about 3wks in and it hasnt made any creaks or sounds. Id buy it again, maybe with a headboard next time. I would just treat it as a fun project if you want to make it part of the room.

Note: Requires finishing with varnish / polyurethane.

Very nice frame. It comes unfinished. I used water based polyurethane; it took four coats. Frame is well made and study. I would buy again.
