(UPDATE: I wrote to the company to let them know about the cracked center supports and got an email back within the hour. Customer service was very impressive. Its still a bore that we have to deal with this but its nice to have the quality issue acknowledged and dealt with quickly.) My daughter is all of 100 lbs and either sits in bed or sleeps. No jumping around or anything that would cause distress. The two support beams cracked in half and now we have a $225 piece of garbage. I am hoping the manufacturer will replace and will update this review in regard to their customer service but I would absolutely not recommend this frame.
Over the years Ive purchased several of these, one for myself and one for each of my kids. Its relatively easy to assemble (as in, I watched my boyfriend put it together pretty easily). The frame is sturdy and strong, and I love that it can be broken down to a compact size for storage or moving if need be. Over the years I havent noticed any creaking or loosening of the hardware, and there have been no broken slats - the beds are as sturdy as the day we assembled them. They also look great! We left ours as-is, but I believe they could be finished to match any decor. This frame is perfect for our platform beds, but would work just as well with a regular mattress and bedspring. I highly recommend.
Made of solid poplar, the frame is really strong. There is one issue however - the diagonal screws that anchor the legs to the platform are a bit short (and thin) and can easily break loose when driving into softer areas of wood. My solution was to use a slightly larger gauge wood screw about 1/4 longer than those supplied. I only used them when the smaller one did not grab. Only one out of eight screws needed this solution. Perhaps a stronger anchoring system could be used for the legs.
Easy assemble, thick 1 inch slats and two center supports make for un yielding support. Slides on my floor if I need it to move and not a peep of sound from it either.
Assembled it December 2020 and used every day until May 2021 when I started getting ridiculous lower back pain because only my lower back was sagging when sleeping. I knew it wasnt my mattress which was brand new and purchased at the same time as the frame, and also the ends where the mattress was supported by the frame properly didnt have any sagging issues. I believe the cause is that the frame doesnt have any center support beams. When I took the mattress off, I could lean on the center slats with my hands and the frame would dip down (Im a 130 lb woman for reference) in the middle. No clue why it suddenly started happening now, I dont see any cracks in the frame or anything, and its just me and my 13 lb dog sleeping on the bed. Also the spec sheet is wrong. Side/middle clearance states 11.5 but its actually 12 when measured. Im hoping the support beams I added under the middle slats will prop me up otherwise this is a very expensive, crappy bed frame!
EDIT 6/30/21: Contacted the customer service to see if I could get a replacement under warranty. The customer service responded promptly to send me a new frame as well as additional center legs to support the center beam. Very impressed with the customer service. Hopefully, with the center legs, I wont have any additional problems. Will update to 5 stars if I see no problems in 6 months.
I really like the simplicity and wood that does not have to be treated.
For future consideration, I would add foot pads to the 4 corners. I have found none that fit and the big round ones look funky. Any ideas? Right now I have folded up cleaning cloths under them to protect the wood floor.

Pleasantly surprised
Its very plain but made of a nice quality of wood. Super sturdy and even smells nice.
This company makes nice beds
We bought a king, it is fantastic. We have been using it for over 2 months now and I am happy with my purchase.
Sturdy and looks great
Beautiful and sturdy frame, easy to put together. I finished it with just some natural penetrating oil and it looks great!
Solid Build, with an Issue

Love it

Dont buy queen size or larger! (Revised 6/30/21)

Even a 127 pound, 76 old lady was able to assemble it with the help of the great video.
